Hello. Thanks for your tutorial !
When I move the folder (with unaligned pictures) to imgalt.exe, nothing happens ...
    Could you please advice ?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi there. To confirm, is the folder with the unaligned pictures copied to the IMGALT directory first? Once it is in the IMGALT directory, then you can drag and drop that folder on to the IMGALT.exe file. And are the files saved in .bmp format?

@@AbdurAstro Thanks for your reply. Yes, the folder with unaligned pictures (in bmp format) is in the same directory as imgalt.exe. When I drag the folder to imgalt.exe, a window appears just one little second and is closed immediately ...

@@astrodom1706 I am thinking it could be an issue with the BMP files. Just to rule that out, I have uploaded some of my .bmp files from my solar imaging run to Google Drive. You can download them from here and save that bmp folder to your IMGALT folder. Then drag an drop it on to imgalt.exe and see if that works.

@@AbdurAstro A great thank you to help me. I appreciate. Unfortunately, when I drag your bmp folder to imgalt.exe, I see the same thing as with my folder (window disappears instantly).

@@astrodom1706 So I spent some time experimenting to find a solution. I found I was able to generate the exact same error as what you got if I used really large BMP files (tested using individual 26MP images from my camera). But if I cropped those images to get rid of the empty space around my target (the moon), then IMGALT completed the task successfully. So at least in my test case, the issue was that the individual files were too large. I will keep looking for a definitive answer and will update you if I find one. How large are your individual frames? (both dimensions in pixels and megabytes?).
