Go guys it is exciting to hear your scaling up process. We need ESS to be mentioned in other articles about storage applications. To often it is just lithium batteries mentioned. Craig Nyman
Thanks for the updates from michael and the team , Great to see a new automated line coming next year, it will double the production, shares seemed to have jumped a bit this week so far, sitting at $0,92
It would be nice if you had more technical walkthrough type videos. If a community solar park serving a few dozen houses wanted to add a container battery to the local substation, assuming they get talked out of buying a used shipping container to fill with tesla powerwalls... what even are the right questions to ask?
I would start with what is the expected lifetime of the battery, what environmental concerns come with it and do I need a lot of power for a short amount of time or less than 1Mw but for much longer stretches.
@@davehasenford3985 Assuming it doesn't catch fire, degrade rapidly over five years use, flood, have a 36 hour power outage where the inside of the container gets up to 110 degrees... But yeah the argument in favor is installing 2 more each year as they can afford them. Until the layoffs hit the powerwall unit and then we're tying together different vendors' systems and wisting for just racks of prismatic cells and our own inverters again, except the guy who knew how to set that up moved...
Thank you for the video, but there is one thing that catches my attention: You mention "Clean Energy", but you begin your video showing your empty roof on which there is not a single solar panel. You must already have energy storage system, in fact, you are the storage system producer. Is it financially unfeasible?
Considering the scale efficiency, it might be better not to use them. Their iron flow batteries are suitable for utility-scale installations. I'm not entirely sure, but filling the flat roof of a building with solar panels might require structural considerations for the building.
Such a good grid scale battery design. I really hope it works. Don't have much risk tolerance, but invested a little just to be part of the ride.
Good to see the updates. Please keep them coming.

Best Energy Storage Company!

Consider the shipping container filled with powerwalls. It’s actually a great solution.

Just watched the video, a billion dollar backlog if that’s the case I am buying more
forecasts pls
One forecast at 10:55 is "net unit profitability later this year"
Hmmm?
Gloss sales mumbo jumbo... how about some hard knuckle fiscal results. Need to see the math. Actual fiscal numbers from real world production.
“many, many more”. … (like 3 more)
button up your shirt or have chest hair
