Loved the video it was explained really well. I have a horse that finds left canter hard, I normally use the corner to make it easier for him, will I be marked down if I use F Corner to go up Canter, Regards Jo & Archie
Circle starts at A and in the test it says canter before X
While your horse is struggling definitely use the corner to help and you shouldn't be penalised for that. But as your horse developes more suppleness, you will find you can use the curve just before X to canter.
Hope this helps. Follow us on insta for regular tips & to ask any questions 😊

Thank you so much for this. Can I ask when should I hit each marker ie do the movement thank you
You need to think about the horses nose being in line with the marker, prepare early, learn the test, and know when the movement comes up.
Hope this helps.
Any tips on how to improve free walk. How to encourage horse to stretch down and step under.
The free walk should be ridden on a long rein not a loose one. Maximise stride length by riding fwd with your seat and leg.
Riding fwds into the contact.
The key to a good free walk is
relaxation.
I hope this helps 😊
Have a good day xx
