All those fans are very nice and a work of art I like the blade tip style on the Emerson and that Hunter and Emerson around those how to pretty cool color to it
Maybe that Hunter ceiling fan was designed for it for back in the days if those switches were maybe more common, but I just wanted to add as a heads up that dimmer switches may not be the best for AC ceiling fan motors. It's probably fine but I've heard about how that can be pretty sketchy for AC ceiling fan motors, the DC ones are probably just fine though.
Nice fan collection Derek, and all beautifully restored. Can you recommend some places to get parts for an old Hunter fan? I have a early to mid 80's three speed Robbins & Myers fan, model - 23274, that I need a new pull-chain switch for. Thank you.
Those are very nice fans Do you know if you can add a reverse switch to Emerson Long Noses that don’t have it built in and also how to do you prevent the Long Noses from falling do you use a J hook or a U bracket ?
Only some early ‘30s Longnoses are reversible. They have a larger, bulged-out oil cup and use reverse pitch steel blade irons. Just need to make sure the J hook is in tight with these.
Very nice! You have some fine examples installed. The baby Longnose especially looks good in its location.

Wow! You must love your vintage ceiling fans, ESPECIALLY vintage antique... :O

@@derekaggs11 Oh so you can’t add a verse switch to a Long Nose
Also can you add reversibility to a Round Nose?
