They scan everything
Scanning has nothing to do with your clothes or neck pillow . You can stuff it with clothes . Yes it will show up when TSA scans but TSA has nothing to do with Airline attendants . They aren’t gonna run to your gate and tell them you have clothes in a neck pillow .

I recommend also taking a jacket with lots of pockets and cargo pants to carry your personal items like charger/ earphones/ wallet/ book etc. !

I have the same bag and took it on a budget airline. I took an underseat luggage to Vegas and had this bag in it so I can bring stuff back and the room in it impresses me so much! And I was able to stand it up under the seat while still giving me plenty of leg room!

Another tip…use a belt bag aka Fanny pack… they’re on your person so they don’t count as a personal item

Please be careful when using this bag. Frontier has gotten more strict and will not allow you to “push down” on your bag to make it fit into the personal item compartment. It has to slide in on its own, otherwise it’s $100.

So do they don't check the dimensions? I just booked a flight on frontier and it said that personal item could be no bigger than 14Hx18wx8D. I've been searching Amazon excessively for something that would meet the requirements and that I would get use out of down the line.
Any time I went they did not bring out a measuring tape or anything like that. They looked at the bag and said it was fine. This bag will allow you to fly with frontier for free and not pay a bag fee. ☺️ 100%
Walmart has a Underseat suit case thats $49 dollars . Its 16 inches wide, 8 inches deep and 14 inches height . With wheels it’s 16.5 inches w and same other measurements . It will fit on all airlines Underseat. I ended up getting one . I only knew cause I looked at the luggage section at Walmart, went to all airline websites while there (cause I didn’t wanna waste money if I couldn’t use) and bought it .
I had a big bag pack and I shoved it in the little personal item Ben , as long as it fits in there u good !!! My dimensions were not the ones they asked for lol . I was good
