My favorite thing about Cena's belt is that you can tell which era someone grew up with by their immediate reaction to it.

The thing about the Big Gold belt not being redesigned didn't age well 😂
To be fair, WWE's Big Gold Belt (when brought back in 2002) was redesigned to have the WWE logo at the top.
What did age well is the comment of if it was olis comment of if it were around today there would be a big logo on it.

The way they talked about how the Big Gold didn't have any redesigns and if WCW was around there'll be a massive WCW logo in it, and Tiple H revealing the new belt like a day after is so poetic.
I am pretty sure you missed the origanal WWE Tag Team Championship design that was won by Angle and Benoit. The one you used is a version of the Word Tag Team Campionships.
Ok so it wasn’t just me, I noticed that too. I really liked those belts.

I actually like the eco belt. The natural material makes it look like it was hand made by a skilled craftsman rather then mass produced out of the cheapest materials wwe could find. The colors are also nice natural colours that go together instead of being garish colours that just look hideous together. Also the wood is from a tree that fell over not from a tree that was cut down.
I love the old bronze tag belts. They look like shields Greek soldiers would carry into battle.

The spinner belt is better than the corporate logo title design they ended up going with for nearly 10 years with just a color shift.
I knew later on wwe spinner belt the colors change. I remember WWE logo was pure gold
I guess it has some personality at least. Even if it's an annoying personality

I really wish they would bring back the Undisputed Championship design the Angle and Brock had. As much as the winged eagle belt is awesome, I’d be more excited to see the Undisputed come back. It’s always kinda reminded me of if WWE tried to make their own version of the classic IWGP heavyweight championship and it actually worked out.
The undisputed WWE title is VERY underrated. It was only around for 3 years and of course Cena got rid of it.
The NXT UK belts are so damn good, those along with the North American belt are the best we've had in years.
World heavyweight championship - never had a redesign… you jinxed it!!!!
The one thing I liked about the spinner was that at least Cena kept the eagle on the belt. It disappeared after that design.
I’m going to be honest, I love the 2013/14 WWE Championship. I love how it combines the scratch logo with the modern title design. I genuinely wish that is what the Universal Championship was modeled after instead of the modern WWE logo.

After seeing ALL the belts it's amazing how very few I truly like. I'd say about 5 designs overall. Winged Eagle is still the greatest.

It's nice to know that my nostalgia for 90's/00's belts aren't unfounded - good LORD some of those old ones were hideous, but in a way honestly much better than Muh Branding. Gotta say I'm with Oli here though, the Winged Eagle is just the best...

It was funny, got funnier, and didn't come up too many times to stop being funny.
I agree with Luke that Big Eagle circa late 90s to early 2000s was just perfect, but the winged eagle is 1B with the Big Eagle being 1A they’re interchangeable. Another thing Big Goldie should’ve never left it stayed through WCW and WWF/WWE it felt like you actually won something, also the undisputed belt was/is underrated I personally use either it or one of the winged eagles as my belts along with Big Goldie on 2k games they are just so much better than the main roster belts that just have a W logo.
Hot take: I think the 90s WWE big eagle is genuinely a very overhyped design

My personal favourite modern belt is the IWGP Women's Championship. Looks pretty good.
I love belt designs and the history but y'all missed some designs of the WWE Championship (particularly when it was WWWF and early WWF).
*Bruno Sammartino's blue belt that he held throughout his seven-year reign.
*The Pedro Morales 1971 design, which was on like a purple almost velvet looking strap.
*The Pedro Morales 1972 design, which had an eagle at the center and the side plates had various flags of different countries and it was on a red strap.
*The Pedro Morales 1973 design. It was similar to the '72 one, but the eagle was a little bigger (and looked like a real eagle) with two wrestlers above the eagle. The side plates were the same but it was on a black strap, but a couple of wrestlers held a couple of different colored straps.
*The Hogan 1984 design, based on the NWA Television Championship at the time.
*The Hogan 1985 design. It was identical to the '84 but had black coloring instead of red.
*Bonus: Andre's belt. It technically was never used, but it did appear on TV in the build to WrestleMania 3.
*Second bonus: There was a custom one that Hogan had that had a pic of himself on it, but I'm not sure if it ever appeared on TV.
Side note, they apparently were going to do a completely new design for Edge's custom belt but basically ran out of time to get it made.
I tried posting this with links to pics of each, but I guess RUclips didn't like that.
Oh, and my favorites. Big Gold Belt (which I have a replica of) has always been a favorite but also the Undisputed Championship.
They also missed the Ruthless aggression tag titles, they were BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I missed the green Intercontinental Championship belt held by Greg Valentine/Tito Santana in 1984/86. That is a classic belt in my opinion
1) The Spinner belt was terrible but it admittedly looked DAMN good on Triple H!! And decent on Orton!
2) You missed the chance with the Miz belt to say “M for Mini” instead of W for Wumbo
3) The 2002-2005 Undisputed title is the most underrated title design of all time!! Easily my favorite WWE title design! So damn gorgeous!! 🤤
4) The copper tag belts were DEFINITELY not as bad as everyone says!! They’re WAVES better than the monstrosities that followed them with the damn color straps

May be an unpopular opinion, but the Saudi belt actually isn’t that bad. The design actually looks pretty cool and intricate, especially compared to modern belts, but the green strap does suck. If it was a black strap or white strap it would actually look really good.
Yeah I really liked that one too.
I'm pausing at less than 5 minutes in because the Undisputed Championship belt is the GOAT. It deserves more respect.

What is Oli on? The Greatest Royal Rumble title is absolutely gorgeous, the event might have been controversial but that doesn't take away from the title being a work of art.
When I was a kid, my friends and I would take turns hosting the pay per views. Part of fun would be choosing who we would think would win each match and whoever had the most winners would receive a belt made by the host. Some belts were made of felt, some were cardboard, and all of them looked better than at least one of the belts reviewed in this video.

Undisputed Championship - Best design ever. (This belt was the best the WWE Championship has ever looked imo.)
On that note this video made me realize they need to hire younger people because I’m in my 20’s and love the Cena Belts also everyone I know my age loves it too.

The three best titles ever:
1) WINGED EAGLE, Pure perfection.
2) Big Eagle, nice and edgy
3) 02 Undisputed Title, BEAUTIFUL AND CLASSY.
It's probably because I grew up watching WCW but I think the big gold WCW belt is my favorite
I would be curious to see a younger fans take on these belts. I am in the same age group as Luke and Ollie, and have similar thoughts, but I am not sure how much of that is nostalgia and for the ones I don't like, me trying to forget.

I actually prefer the spinner belt over the modern day belts, for as loud and gaudy as the belt is and as much as it only suited Cena...it at least had something going over the corporate "everything must be recognisable and minimalistic" style everything must be now 🤣Not saying the spinner is even good, give me the Big Gold any day but just that the modern day belts have done a lot to raise up the spinner in hindsight.
Wwe spinner belt last long for a reason it's unique and stands by the best design next to the big gold because side by side it's different then looking basic. A lot of bling and heavly recognize then others.
The WWE Spinner belt and the US Spinner belt are my favorite championships. 1. They were created by my favorite wrestler John Cena. 2. They spins

I'm definitely showing my age here, but I have a special love for the spinner belt. It's not great by any means, and it probably is the worst, but for some reason I still have an attachment to it. Just reminds me of the good old days along with the Big Gold. Will always love both of those belts. Definitely had a lot of personality. 😌

They do the WWE Tag titles from ‘02 but not the World Tag titles from the same era? Two of my favorite belts of all time to be honest.
