The Squared Away was my FAVORITE Vera Bradley bag. I had so many prints and the only one I still have is the Hello Dahlia print. I sold them all. I wish they would bring the style back. The Boysenberry print is beautiful!
That is a beautiful bag. I love the older bags and patterns as well. I have seen this bag on Mercari… and other items in Boysenberry, it is so pretty. Thank you so much for showing this video.😊
This is seriously a really cut bag. I’ve never seen this style. Love the color and all your accessories. I like the older bags too.their interiors were a lot nicer back in the day
i agree 100%!!! i LOVE old school vera!! they unfortunately lost me as a customer quite some time ago. i got so upset when they discontinued bag styles that were perfect for me. i dont like the newer items at all. so i get my vera now from poshmark, mercari or ebay. ....sometimes, depending on what it is i will buy from the outlet (which i just got a few things from the last online outlet sale), but they were older styles.
Now that VB no longer bothers with piping, it's even more noticeable when looking at older styles-it's so nice to see that on this bag, esp. on edges of the handles, really adds that finishing touch. Thanks for showcasing this great pattern & style :)
I have been using the Vera Saddle Up Bag in Symphony In Hue. I too love the older styles more. The small backpack that was more purse like I he e been using along with the Stephanie bag. All Symphony In Hue.
I love saddle up’s and symphony in hue is my all time favorite pattern. One day I’m going to get a saddle up in it. I have lots of other things in it. My 3 saddle ups are boysenberry, pirouette and buttercup. I really prefer the older bags these days since the quality has gone down so much. I still buy accessories mainly in the newer patterns but rarely a handbag. I remember when Vera used to ship the orders in those beautiful, colorful signature boxes and now we just get a plastic mailer. 😔
@@SweetbearCoyote Symphony is my all time favorite pattern too. I went through a rough time in 2009 and this pattern reminds me that no matter how difficult life got, I still found the color in life. In this pattern I have two zip ids, wristlet, key case, two wallets, a small backpack, Stephanie bag, Knot Just a Clutch, and now the Saddle Up. I found my Saddle Up on Poshmark recently for only $25. Someone else had one too for closer to $40.
@@SweetbearCoyote and I agree the older bags are better. Not just for quality, but I think variety and uniqueness. Plus to me the patterns were so much more detailed. I never ordered Vera when they had the boxes, but I remember going into the stores that sold the brand and there would be so much to choose from. Now there isn’t.
@@MyDreamIsAStory wow $25 is a great deal even $40 is good if it’s in new condition. In symphony in hue I have a miller bag, 2 small duffles, 2 large cosmetic bags, a hipster, wallet, coin purse, zip id, sunglass case and contact case. One day I Hope to find the saddle up and large duffle in new condition then I’ll be done with that pattern 😂. Maybe 😀
@@MyDreamIsAStory oh yea I have that Not Just a Clutch too but forgot about it since I’ve never carried it. I really don’t like that style. The handle is weird in my opinion and it doesn’t hold much. The symphony in hue pattern reminds me of a pattern you might see on a bag in a stagecoach in the 1800’s. I see it as a gypsy traveler pattern and why I love it so much.
I love this boysenberry pattern. I have it in the saddle up and a kiss lock wallet like yours. I think it goes great with jeans and white tee or denim blue shirt. Thanks for sharing your squared away bag, now I want one. 😀
Pretty bag! Do you carry so much in real life or just for your videos? Would you consider making a video about packing a more minimal bag for the day? Like if you could only carry the basics? I would like to see what you would carry!
Hi, yes I do carry a lot in my bags on most days. Here and there I will carry a wristlet or tiny bag. I can do a video on a more minimal bag for you. Thanks so much for watching and your request :)
Absolutely beautiful bag, love that colour, thankyou for sharing this, take care and god bless xxx
Your purse is so pretty! All the matching items are just gorgeous!

This was one of my favorite Vera bags ever! I had it in Twirly Birds navy. I wore it until it fell apart. Wish Vera kept making this bag.
Beautiful bag! Love your videos!

Agree! I recently purchased 2 newer VB bags from Poshmark and am only keeping one of them. The other is not at all the quality of my older VB bags.

Your husband sounds like an absolute Dear! I found you from his "what's in her bag" video. The recent one. You both are too cute ♥️
