This ad just happened to pop up in the middle of a video I was watching, and it floored me. I had to go and find this video to show it to my husband because it is *genius.*
If more companies could explain this way, more skeptics like me would be on board with talks about Climate Change. And this idea is just…a masterpiece. And the science behind Shelfy is flabbergasting!!

I have been using this product for 6 months and we have seen the difference. We used to use 2-3 packs of fridge fresh from Arm & hammer (odour remover). Now I only use one of these and the fridge has been free of smell.
One thing I have noticed from a month ago is that I need to recharge the device more often though. I use the eco mode and the charge lasts around 2 weeks.

Does this purifier leak ozone or any other harmful substances? How does it work exactly? Is it through ionization? I'm worried because I know some air purifiers leak ozone, so I'm wary of any purifying product. I would appreciate it if you could share this information with us as it doesn't seem to be available on your website. This product also seems like the first of its kind as I can't find any similar product on Amazon, which makes me even more cautious about backing it.
Thank you for your interest! 🍎 Shelfy uses photocatalysis, so no ionization or emission of ozone. There is a photocatalytic filter (washable and reusable!) which gets hit by visible light and eliminates pollutants at molecular level, everything happens inside the filter and there are no substances emissions in the refrigerator. It works like this: Shelfy takes in the air inside the refrigerator through mechanical ventilation and leads it towards the photocatalytic filter, where the pollutants are destroyed. It acts directly on the chemical pollutants emitted by fresh food that are responsible for their ripening, so by abating those pollutants we are able to preserve the freshness of your food for longer, reduce the bacterial load and odors.
It is the first of its kind 😉 You can also connect it to the Vitesy Hub app and monitor the refrigerator door openings to be more aware of your usage and energy consumption, as well as connect it with Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

So i think this product should be an restricted addition to every new built fridge, this will make the company explode. As well as drastically decrease food waste. You guys Should be talking with goverments.

Very interesting and very nice trying to avoid food waste. However, my question is...... How the people who abandon food in the fridge and make them gone can take care of this small machine??? This reminds me of my mother who make big Memo for not forgetting things and forget to have a look the memo pad.

lots of people do, i'd say its more middle class or upper working but you don't need a fridge like this to use it. just stick it in any fridge by the looks of it.
I don't know. They are fighting the food waist. Those with smaller houses and fridges, eat out everything in their fridges anyway.
