Spring here in Victoria, Australia. I'm sure you can tell by my profile picture what I'm getting ready to plant out. Your garden looks so rich and healthy. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful, thanks for the tour and helpful assessments of varieties which didn’t do well in your farm. I love how the beauty of meadows memory made you sing spontaneously 😃❤️. When are you selling tubers online? Details pls. Thank you!
Ohhh, that white seedling of yours is wonderful, better than many named varieties! I love and prefer shorter growing dahlias, all the years of staking of hundreds of various plants, now I just prefer the lower growing types. Do you possibly have recommendation for very nice shorter varieties for garden display rather than long stemmed cut flower types, thanks! :)
Who is the big pink in the right corner at 5:54?!❤ You immediately showed it up close but not the variety Also Mary Margret doesn’t get enough love because she’s yellow- but she was prolific and a stunning flower in my garden!
I had a lot of rain this summer so powdery mildew is an issue. Remove the lower leaves of the plant. This is usually where the powdery mildew is the worst and it will allow better airflow. Other than that, I don’t treat. In a normal year, the PM doesn’t come until September and that is end of dahlia season for me anyways. I also grow chrysanthemums in a greenhouse and they bloom later so I treat those by spraying with neem oil. I spray before I start seeing PM. Not certain but think it works by not allowing the PM spores to germinate on the leaf.
I would love to have the ones you don't want. I live in Michigan I do have dahlias. I'm just a beginner. My dark purple ones are amazing. The light yellows you have are just amazing. Do you dig them up or heavy mulch them? Thanks for the tour. What do you mean by seedlings row.
Hi Kimberley. Sending dahlias to the US from Canada requires a phytosanitary inspection as well as a visit from government inspectors. A significant investment of time for me. For that reason I do not ship to the US unless it’s for trades of dahlias I want. Sorry about that.
Wow, those dahlias are so beautiful, they are my favorite flowers. Thank you for sharing.! 🥰

The link in the right corner at 5:54 is Tsuki-no-suzu. I hope to have that variety available for sale in 2026.
I noticed all your seedlings are all double (no single pedals). How do you get so many double seedlings?
Beautiful thancks
So beautiful
Your flowers are beautiful 🎉 when you are financially able 🤑 invest in a camera that really shows their magnificence 💯🥰❣️
I’d love to take up photography once I retire. Also want to get a drone because an overhead view would be stunning.
Your dahlias are beautiful! How do you treat powdery mildew on your dahlias? Mine are really suffering right now. Thanks!
