Thanks mate, I am actually well equipped although at times, for a real 45 to 90 manpowered push, a van carrying the gear would have been awesome. But using the post offices and general delivery, I am really getting my weight down.

im so confused by this, how does he plan to make it past the mountainous walls and indrawing seas? There are too many historical accounts to name here that warn of the many deaths that resulted trying to paddle through those narrow entrances. Given Ryan's route, its true he chose the path of least resistance, but how does he plan to survive the currents that have claimed the lives of dozens of royal, armed ships? Can anyone seriously just paddle thier way on in? Serious question, because id do it myself if thats the case. And what about military protection in the area?

I like the idea but I feel like you'd make more progress if you did 70-90 instead of 45-90. I live at 45, there's not much to prove down here. If you're trying to prove whats at 90, get to where people don't live and then start reporting back. Don't wear yourself down before you can get to the interesting part.
