Minority leader Mwenda Ithili alleges that the Impeached governor Kawira Mwangaza is courting the MCAs opposed to his leadership claiming that she wants to bribe them with Kshs 3M each to join her camp. Mwenda has called on Mwangaza to implement the 2024/25 Program Based Budget to the later saying each county was allocated a minimum of Kshs 36M and credit should go to the MCAs who made the itemized budget
