Any HVAC supply house has what’s called STRUT. I have also seen it at Menards, the stuff we used was the painted version. I forgot to mention that we used the square one hole washers underneath the aluminum to add some strength and try to keep from pulling through. Gonna use it again tomorrow on a Air Handler in a house that has to sit on a mezzanine. Thanks for watching.
It's also sometimes called UNI STRUT. It isn't always colored green. It's mostly just bare silver metal. Home Depot also sells it in addition to special hardware pieces like the 45 degree bracket you see where the two pieces of strut come together and the electric winch is attached. It's like a giant version of the metal erector set building toys.
