Morten uses that Everly guitar more than anyother he owns. It was said at one time that he and Phil were going to do something together, but it never happened. Recording "Crying In The Rain" was a tribute and a thank you to the Everly's. Phil has always liked A-HA's version of the song, while Don has not. There are many pictures of A-HA, especially Morten at a Everly Brothers concert in 1985 in Los Angeles where he has his backstage pass on. Thank you so much for this wonderful, wonderful video

I love this song & I think I like this version better than the original. That is an Everly guitar he is using (Phil & his sons make the guitars). However they received those before they recorded "Crying In The Rain". Terry Slater A-HA's manager was also Phil's friend & manager before The Everly's got back together in 1984. They met the Everly's through Terry.
