First Severe Thunderstorm of the Season 03-06-2022

  • I think these were the first severe thunderstorms of the season in Indianapolis. The severe thunderstorm warnings were saying 70mph wind gusts were possible.
    It was 77 degrees and dry and windy the day before this. Then after the storms, later in the day, there were points when there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, then last night, March 6th to 7th, there were 2 more inches of rain which triggered flood warnings. There was a little bit of lightning, but sadly I slept through it. Today it didn't even break the upper 30s.

    Me, my mom and my grandpa would stand on his covered porch and watch the storm. Very severe ones are our favorite. My grandma would be yelling at us to get inside but we told her we were fine and stayed out there. I love to sleep when there is a big storm. Best sleep ever. 😊 my grandparents are now in heaven and wow how cool it must be to be able to see that from up there. I know my grandpa is enjoying it. 💜

    The beginning of the video has an eerie vibe as the storm rolls in the wind chimes ringing & the wind gusts blowing it looks & sounds threatening. As someone from Ohio we have a lot of storms like this it's not just Ohio it's basically all of the Midwest & parts of the South. You can see the wall cloud over the horizon.

    Uh... Small pressure change is usually the indication of a tornado. I should know Bec I've seen one before & right before it happened, the pressure changed.

    • @kilaueaproductions4210
      @kilaueaproductions4210  2 года назад

      This pressure change was from the downdraft of the storm which increases the pressure. Tornadoes change the pressure too, but they make the pressure drop.
