Exactly what I'm planning. My Cup 2 are almost done. Gonna go for the Sport 4S too. Then get a second set of wheels just for the track and put the new Track Cup 2 on those just for track days.
those toyo 888's are definitely not an everyday driver tire. I wish michelin made these in 305/35/19. I don't want a 30 series tire. Same story with the continental extreme contact.
I like the review. Just ordered them for my 2017 Roush Stage 3. The stock tires won't even hook in 3rd. I'm on stock wheels so had to go 285/35/20. We will see how they do.
I’ve been putting off the ford performance springs because I can drive pretty much care free into shopping centers and driveways stock height. But if you’re not scraping too often, that stance is so much cleaner and worth a scrape here and there. Take care 🤙🏾
I'm looking at a 2020 pp1 with those tires. I live up north so I was worried about colder temps and tire performance. I'm glad to hear they still do alright when it's cold out. That's a mean car bro!
@@Socialjusticewarriorsaretrash yep I bought the car shortly after writing that. I was driving around one day when it was 38 degrees. I did a 2nd gear pull at 40 mph and the tires didn't hook lol. However once it warms up they are wonderful
Are you getting good 0-60 because i have an Infiniti q60 red sport and the car comes with Bridgestone Potenza and it spins quite a bit so the ps4s hook up really good ?
Went with the same tire for my 22 Mach 1 hopefully they will improve how much the road is grabbing me and pulling me side to side on the road. Cool vid love the pulls, headers??
The Best Tires in the business especially if you want to Roll Race because they are designed to Grip at higher speeds. Now, the Toyos are great for drag racing on a track not the street.
@@bannerrj41 thanks for the response! It’s too late for me. Already ordered 305/325 ps4s this morning. The extra meat in the back was too sweet to resist
I'm curious to see what these tires can do if you're working with boost. NA sounds like they work great, but you start getting above 600 rwhp then let's see how good they are.
@@lobbyrobby thanks for the update! I'm in a 2019 A10 Whipple Stage 2 and I can do 40 rolls in 3rd gear with Michelin AS4 all seasons in 55 degrees. 650+whp. I'm going to give the PS4S a shot and hopefully I'll be able to do 40 rolls in 2nd gear especially when warmer. I remember back when I was just Lund E85 the PS4S were incredible, could hook from a dig. But I've been torn between PS4S and R888R with the added power. The PS4S is going to be a much better overall street tire and as long as I can do proper 40 rolls I'm all good with it!
Just a few opinions and observations RJ. Enjoy your car but don't abuse it. Cops are out there on the street , and those engines are suspect. They drink too much oil if the original owner did not break in the engine the right way and with tender loving care. Plus , I know you've heard about some engines blowing up.Some on the street , some at the track. Also , I don't know what tire companies you like , but I have sampled three brands of high performance tires for Camaros and Mustsngs . Michelin , Goodyear , and Pirelli . I believe you said you could not find the original size tires on the internet and wanted to ditch the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Well , months ago , in a few hours of searching , I bumped into the high performance Pirelli PZ4. factory tire sizes for the front and rear of a GT 350 mustang. And , since the car is too low already in the front and scrapes everywhere , I stuck with the 35s on the sidewall. 295-35-19 front , 305-35-19 rear.
Since I ditch the eibach spring and replace them with Ford performance the car doesn’t really scrape at all. The different tier size didn’t effect the ride quality at all it actually improved it. Anytime I do pulls in the car I make sure the road is free of other cars and cops. I’ve owned the car for three years with no oil, trans and motor issues, thank god! I’ve read and seen all the problems with these cars. I guess I was bless with a good one. How are the Pirelli? Thanks for the feedback.
I've driven on Pirelli P Zero TROFEO R (track tire , not for the street) and Pirelli P Zero tires for the street. Both sets of Pirelli tires were 305-30-19 size. I happen to like the tread pattern on the street Pirellis. And , they somehow LOOK WIDER than the stretched look sidewall appearance of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires you just bought don't have that weird stretched concave sidewall look , BUT for some reason Michelin does not make the factory spec replacement sizes for the GT 350 in the 295-35-19 front and 305-35-19 rear if you want the pilot Sport 4s . That's the reason I went with the Pirelli P Z4 tires.
You opened this video on the right tune my man. I love the sound of that car geesh sounds amazing. Great Vid brother.

Much respect for this coming from an SS 1LE owner, the car sounds sick! When my Eagle F1's are shot, I'm definitely getting these PS 4S's.
Love this car i hope to get one some day love the way you ripping it too .

Me too. I have a 2020 GT 350. The Pilot Super Sport and the Cup 2 are my only Two options from Michelin.

I rarely scrape the front splitter anymore. You still have to be careful going in and out of driveways

these tires kill on my model 3. feels like a super car. nice sound btw.
Great video! WOT box? Nice pulls from 2nd gear up! Those tires hook, Once I wear out my Goodyear F1 I wanna check these out.
These tires are great
Flexing with those glasses yes-sir!

Do the hook when u launch?
Bro u b shifting them gears. Love ur videos as always
Yo, I be practicing..and I still think I shift slow

I’m looking to replace my super sports. So you have ford performance springs with 305/30 fronts and 325/30 rears in the 4S? Any rubbing issues?
No rubbing at all, but it does throw the mph off by 3-5 miles. You can go with 315 in the rear. I only went 325 because 315 was sold out

Hey RJ , In the video , you said you went with MPS 4s > 325-30-19 rear. But in the front , did you say 305-30-19 OR 305 -35-19 ?
Let me know please.
305/30/19 in the front

Do you have extended studs and spacers in the fronts?
Yes

No rubbing
Just installed a set and 500 miles in I find them very harsh, the ride is not smooth any reason why ? Braking and handling tho fantastic
I don’t know..do you have the correct air pressure in them? That can make a huge difference. I love my 4s
Sounds like a logical sacrifice if you want the best performance comfort is usually sacrificed
