I love the way I can involve my whole body and emotions its just 😌
I love how it doesn't have to be perfect! Its fun and a perfect way to express your emotions!!

How it’s not as controlled as ballet and how it’s a bit easier (for me at least) to express emotion
My favourite thing about contemporary dance, is the freedom that I feel while doing it! I've been doing it since I was five, and now I'm twelve!

That was the first time I've done contemporary and I surprised myself in getting all the moves down. Very enjoyable thank you :)
Contemporary is my fav style for many reasons. One of the is that it is pure freedom from everything, even from myself.
I go to dance classes once a week, but all the other kids are way ahead of me because I am not good at it at all. But I decided to do my best to keep practicing and when I found this, I can already feel myself getting better at dancing! My teacher says I am improving amazingly! Thanks so much for this amazing dance class!

I've always wanted to be a dancer, but i always thought its too late to start. This is the first dance class I ever tried, and it was so fun. Thank you so much. Im gonna sign up for dance classes right away.
Love the longer videos! It makes the learning process feel more wholesome like an actual class! Perhaps we could even venture to the 45 minutes long zone?

My favourite thing about contemporary dance is the freedom while dancing. And this is my first time taking contemporary dance and I was supposed to do every move in it first it is hard but after a while I can enjoy every move.😅❤

this is a first class?? I was barely starting on the jumping jacks when my ankle started making the little cracking sound. but on another note you sound like a wonderful teacher. I already subscribed. I'm not quitting till I learn how to dance
it shouldn't really be though, there are a lot of moves that for first timers seems hard to achieve, like turns and stuff...

Hi, I've just discovered your channel. I'm 37 and never really danced in my life apart from some basic classes when I was a kid. I'm stuck at home in lockdown and thought I'd try something new and exciting, as I've been struggling with depression and anxiety. So, I gave it a try and I'm loving it! I look like a drunken elephant when I try, but it's ok, I'm only doing it for myself. I'm so much better and having fun! This is awesome, so I thought I would thank you here :)

I wanted to learn how to dance so I choose Jazz. But I had a problem, it was that it felt too fast for me so I decided to look for another type of dance to learn. So I choose Contemporary and it literally made me fall in love with dance with your easy follow along dance class! Thank you so much!

It's been more than a year since the last time I danced and it was scary when I noticed that. I really love contemporary dance.. I remembered when is as in 1st& 2nd yr in college we joined contemporary dance contest though we didn't win at least we were able to showcase our talent.. I just hope I can still dance again. Though I already have a kid and have some issues on my ankle

I'm not a dancer at all, but I added this to my workout. It's so fun and surprisingly difficult for me!!! You're an excellent teacher! Very technical. It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have it but I'm determined! My daughter, who is a dancer, got it on the first try hahaha! We had so much fun doing this together and she was helping me. I'm hoping next time she stops by I have some improvement. Dance is hard!!! :D

YAY IM EARLY!! Let me tell my story and how much you’ve haleped me. I started dance properly when COVID wasn’t really a thing. I was getting so much better then...lockdown started. My house is small so over time i stopped dancing, until one day I thought”I’m good at dance, why am I not doing it?” Do I typed on RUclips dance and ordered the shoes. I've been doing ballet since I was 11, which is almost 3 years ago now, and I recently became very interested in contemporary dance. I want to try it at home a few times to see if it fits for me, and if it does, maybe I'll consider taking a contemporary class in person.

I would love to join your dance school, especially since I’m not that flexible and I’m am not like starting out in my early ages, like 2 yrs old or 3, so you seem like such a great teacher for me. But my parents won’t let me until I show them I am serious, I show them by doing these dances😁‼️ AND I LOVE THESE DANCES‼️ Also your like a lil bit away from my city so it’s hard convincing. BUT IM WILLING TO TRY!!

I did dance when I was around 10, and i stopped cuz we couldn't go to the studio anymore, but now im 15 and I'm going to start again, but my body isn't used to it, have you got any tips for warmups before my classes start again?
