I have a 2013 500exc I use for trail riding. It's not nimble but I love the torque it has. Thinking this 24 model might be good enough to give the Ole girl up 🤔
I’d like to know how it handles in real single track with rocks and ledges. I’m not talking about hard enduro hike-a-bike made for two strokes, but (the trails in the video looked smooth and flowing) how does it work in AZ rocky ST, Nevada hack, Utah switchbacks, Colorado mountain trails, and real California desert conditions (Lucerne whoop-de-doos / Jawbone off the radar decomposed granite ridge line E ticket type stuff and monster sand hill climbs, again referring to Jawbone Canyon / Spangler Hills)? The two riders did a good job in my opinion given the area and time that was allowed to them, and I’m not dogging on them, but I’d like to know what a seasoned “off road” specialist thinks. Better yet, how about an old off-road champ, with billions and billions of miles of seat time, like Jimmy Lewis test this bike out. Heck, a good 110 mile ride from Jawbone store up through the Paiutes and back one day, and Chuckwalla / Cross Mt. the next day would cover 95% of what one would find in the Southwest (desert, big hills, technical ST, mountain ST etc.). PS. There should be a band on testing off road enduros (XC-W’s, WR’s, CRF-X’s, Beta RR’s and RE’s, and TE’s) at Cahuilla Creek. 😏😉
If we had it our way, we'd take the bike to the right places! We're hoping to get some new KTM's to test but it's been a while since they've let us properly test anything...
@@DirtBikeTest I get it, and I do appreciate the content. Take no offense, you guy do a really good job. It just seems that a lot of these bikes are tested at that place. And I do understand that it’s probably due to were the manufacturers conduct their media rides. I’m looking forward to your long term test 👍. PS maybe they are afraid to let you guy really test these bikes due to your honesty?
😂 They are setting up their paid for by yamaha. Uhh I am a cable clutch guy 😂😂😂😂 Starts video with yamaha commercials. Ktm is way ahead of yamaha in the offroad scene.

Uh, tight single track? Not in this video. 😂
can you get a green sticker for it?
I believe you can.
Can it be street legal?
Depends on where you live
What about the xcf
We hope to spend some time on one soon
Rad scoot!

Some of our riders still prefer a cable clutch (crazy 🤯) but we do have a lot of hydro clutch believers in our stable of test riders
For $12k, heck no!
