I love the quiet focus as you and your friend moved through the Killhouse. No talking, no commands, you both knew what to do, where to stand, where to aim. No unnecessary chatter over the coms apart from a few callouts and the humoristic moment at the end. It was impressive to watch and you definitely earned another sub for it. Keep doing what you're doing, it's an absolute pleasure to watch.
I mean guys, people play a game for fun and leave this kind of tactics level of playing to the pros. But i agree if the player is just straight up do the game R6 style.
one of the things they need to get back from swat 4 was that when you made too much noise both civilian and criminals with guns would start moving between rooms and opening doors, sometimes you would found an enemy behind you from where you came, that was cool because you always had to watch your back

Almost all ops in Afghanistan and Iraq in the last 10 years has been more law enforcement oriented, we had civilian police contractors working with us overseas in order to help with the difference in doctrine. We hated it.

@@XixIXca tunnels like these are common in Afghanistan, they usually lead to a well, on my deployment we pretty much ignored them, unless a soldier fell in one. It's dark, a lot of trip hazards but in my experience, they didn't usually try to fight or anything from in there, i mean it is their water source.
This has been the smoothest flow from room to room I’ve seen on any video game. You guys seem to work very well together. Does the shoot house have a counter on how many targets you missed? I think you guys did miss one at 2:35 but it was pretty well hid. Watching this game and you guys move make it feel very real.

Best communication so far. Not talking too much. Each one understands the techniques of room clearing and where each person needs to be. Also I noticed you guys are the first people to even mention shapes out of anyone I have seen play. Once you see CQB in just a bunch of shapes. It makes working and breaking it down so much easier. This was super good.
I love the way you sway your gun during the sickeningly familiar tunnel to keep alert and to keep in motion. If only there was a bigger map though, I think you can guys can do a more big open fields map to see how you guys perform as opposed to urban environments since you’re both a Marine and a Ranger.
This has been the more enjoyable gameplay I've watched. Pied the doors, violence of action by committing to going through rather than just sitting behind the open doors, and it just was more enjoyable and didn't give me a heart attack. (I know it's a video game but still) those are important details even in a CQB game
LOT better mechanically and ambience/feel wise than zero hour, swat 4 cant be compared swat 4 is prob the goat in this genre. ready or not is very fun tho

@@eddiebernays514 They invited some people to play multiplayer for this game a while ago and they released videos on it. Many people hyped for this game lost faith in it from the MP that was shown. But then they released this single player stuff and everyone has hope again. MP might not be good but co-op seems legit. Unless they update the MP that is. But I think most people were interested in this game for the co-op scenarios. The people developing the game also got picked up by a publisher named Team17 not long ago as well. So they have more funding now. We'll see how it goes! Things are looking good though.

When you hear a gunshot from the next room, you either come out or lay an ambush inside. I hope the game's artificial intelligence improves, I expected them to be more aggressive or smarter
sometimes they do. got some little fuckers that ganked us from a cleared spot because they heard gunshots and walked a circle arround us and came from the back. but like i said. sometimes. the most times they are a bit stupid. i guess they will improve the AI.
Curious about that first clear. You seem to not be looking at certain corners/blind spots. Is that because it's assumed that your partner is already covering where you aren't looking?
You guys doing it nice, though some of those civilians might disagree a tad bit :P I got into the habit of carrying wedges and stingers with me, along with a taser as secondary. When I clear an area I tend to close the doors and lock it down, or when there is a door I don't want to deal with, I secure it with wedge until I'm ready to check on it. Stingers - at least in Ready Or Not and its current state - work like a flashbang with the added effect of the rubber balls whacking people within the room. Of course this loadout doesn't allow for a mirror but you can always check for traps by peeking. Ready Or Not is a lot of fun, and in a lot of ways very much like SWAT4 was. I really hope they will allow community made maps, because with that even in the current state it would add near endless replay value and new adventure for folks like us.
Love the gameplay! Solid movements, great commentary, not so humorless as you would expect from the title. All and all, a quality video! I also love the look of the HRT uniform. I'll always have a soft spot for multicam.

I'm a former Marine and played my first round of Ready or Not solo with the A.I. squad on this drug house map. Shit was intense.
