    Vincent!
Thank you so much for all the effort and care you put into this video of us talking about some of the most prominent moments in our lives.
Really happy to have our friendship blossom over the years and have our stories told to open community. 😊

Hey guys, Emil from Malaysia here! The pads were made of plywood, sheet metal over that (can't for the life of me remember WHY we did that), DDR arcade sensors, plexiglass for the panels, and the bar was lead pipe!
That pad's been long since junked though and it was built entirely from ground up, and having played on numerous (pretty good) ITG and DDR Ace cabs around the world, I can safely say it's definitely up there and more than compensates for 4-panel being completely dead in this country, haha.
Always more than happy to hang with anyone who wants to come here for ITG, and the Pump community's always hungry here!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The stories are interesting, but my favorite part I have to say is the white turtleneck ;)

Heya, so I was the creator of that Malaysia pad, and I will address a few questions here.
    1. Yes, bars were metal, they were metal pipes bound together and spray painted, hella jank for its time. The pads were made out of wood, reason why it was a little weird, and the sensors were home made, which also explains why it's accuracy was hit or miss.
    2. The 'cafe' was a gaming place (But now closed) where the FGC would gather and play (At the time it was kinda empty)
    3. The ghetto setup to be frank was with my own spending cash (I was still a uni kid, not a lot of money to throw around), so to hear it looked better than some home cabs is surprisingly nice.
    4. Yes there's arguably only 2 people in Malaysia now (Me and Emil) who play ITG actively nowadays, and that's because we don't have anywhere else to deploy the pads and simply, not enough interest here in Malaysia.
    5. Also, it's 2021, did the pads get any improvements? Yes, huge improvements, it's on it's 5th or 6th iteration, and it has 9 working pads, can play PIU and ITG. I've been hammering 11s on it and it can take it. Also 12 Staminas too, any higher would require me to be better at the game.
Once the pandemic is over, sure, I'd love you guys to visit and check out how much we had improved!
