Forgot to mention, Gators are known for sometimes climbing fences! We checked all around for any areas they may have been able to get in & couldnt find anything which left us with they must be climbing over the fence from the canal.
My great grandfather lived on a river when gators were Uber protected. He said the secret to getting rid of a nuisance gator was to dig the hole vertically. The wardens always look for a horizontal hole. Rip papa

You can try getting a fence that does not have gaps that allow gators to climb up or have a barbed wire on top of the fence to not allow any gators come in your property! Sorry for what happened man. It’s OK everyone suffers sad things once in a while. But I know that you can make it through. Continue with what you do and know that you were one of my favorite RUclipsrs!
I would never let my dog near that pond again. Nick, maybe there is a entrance under the water like connected to sewage or the canal or something. Drain the pond to find out!!!
bro i understand the fear you had in this about ur ducks. my bunnies once got out side and there was a hawk flying around and i had to get my bunnies inside while there was a hawk that was screeching and swooping down to get my bunnies. neither of my bunnies were hurt or anything but it was a terrifying process that i had to deal with.

When I was a kid about 60 years ago my dad was dredging some lake near the swamp in south Georgia and came across a baby 18". He brought it home and put it in our little cement fish pond and put chicken wire over it. He told us NOT stick our fingers in there. One know it all kid named Ricky kept sticking his fingers in and one day, Wally got hold if it and he almost lost his finger. Wally wen back to the swamp.
@@hatfieldjesse7780 depends on the height. They Certainly can climb chain link.. Pretty sure the law says the fence for a gator enclosure must be 20 ft and double layers.. there's a reason for that Google 'Alligator climbs fence'
There are videos showing crocodiles and alligators climbing fences and trees, admittedly not much longer than 3m. There's even a scientific study (paper) on it! It'll cost, but perhaps double the fence height and ensure that they can't dig beneath the fence too. RIP little brown duck.
My sister had lost two flocks of chickens to a random dog, I feel that stress and importance of getting rid of the predators. Luckily they caught it the second time her flock got wiped. Her remaining chickens are safe now and they no longer have to suffer or worry thank god. The gators most likely climbed the fence, they're interesting reptiles that can actually be smart sometimes.
Lol, I laugh when he said they fence off the property. It's Florida, no fence can protect you from them, if you have a body of water, there will be gators in there sooner or later.
Lots of things that doesnt add up in his story. Hey saw the smaller gator. In his video he said 1 day later and sudden its a bigger gator and he telling he thought it was gone cuz the gator was gone cuz he didnt saw him for 5 days... thats impossible. So he lied. Also... that big gator absolutely cant climb nor jump over the fence. Its obvious that you sir putted these gators in your pond. All for the likes and views it seems.
You should make a taller fence that thing is like 4 feet tall even coyotes walking down the canal Can jump that to get your ducks. Or put up a wood fence on the outside of your fence they wouldn’t be able to climb up a wood fence.
That is a nightmare. Fence climbing, eating machine, dinolizards. Rest in peace, little Snoopy. That is a scary situation with pets. I'd be so worried about the dog, too. And you guys, yikes! Think twice before swimming in there!
Someday, I want to move to Florida and have gators in my backyard pond. Hell, I'd be down with Nile Crocodiles as well if they could somehow be acquired. That'd be fantastic.
Forgot to mention, Gators are known for sometimes climbing fences! We checked all around for any areas they may have been able to get in & couldnt find anything which left us with they must be climbing over the fence from the canal.
Wow what a great video! Thank god no more of your babies were eaten!!! ❤
How did the one with 3 lags climed the fence?
Yea no way that bigger gator climbing up any fence, unless the fence is very short in some places..
Sorry about Snoopy Nick. R.I.P. Are you going to do another stocking of the pond?
Put some rollers up so they can not climb over.. the rollers will spin, and they would go down
“Your cool but you ate my duck”
Gator slowly puts his head down 😂😂

How did they get in your pond? Under the fence? Or thru the front yard? Are you near a canal? Glad you got them out and only lost one bird! 🐊🐊🙈
I love how they were waking closer to the gator to investigate him

How do you get the hooks out their bellies or how do you catch them with rod and reel?
Great video nick sorry for the duck
Thanks for sharing!
That was insane! I guess it's a normal part of life in Florida, though. Any idea of how they got in? There must be a gap in the fence somewhere. 🙂
Gators can climb chain link fences with ease. Just look up "Alligator climbs fence in Florida", it's got 2.2 million views.
@Prettyphile thanks, I didn't know that. It's not surprising now that you point it out. 😀
Nahh. They can essily climb his fence

its not the best way but in an emergency a cast net can be used to catch the ducks , how are the gators getting around your fence
This is precisely why even with a homemade pond, I will not swim in Florida xD
Good to see you back with ur regularity
That duck with the afro is so cool man
Rest in peace Snoopy. You should make your fences bend towards the outside so that they cannot climb in.
Now you need a pet dwarf caiman
Bro called the gator an Opp. Lol
That was amazing 🐊

what happened to the stingray shark thingy didnt see him after the vid u caught him

Just wondering what they do with the alligators once caught?
Gotta find the hole and fix the fence. Maybe install something stronger. That pond is a huge attractant to them.
Banger vid, hopefully they didn't eat too many fish
Perfect size for the saltwater pond, I say in honor of cinco de mayo we name him senior placid (like lake placid the movie)
Did they go to a sanctuary or do they have to be put down because I know they were too big to be released back in wild
I saw a video that alligators can climb up to fence which is very scary
Made such a nice pond everything wants to love in it!

Any idea on what they do with the gators? Also was one missing a leg?
The bigger gator could have taken it off.
Missing legs is a VERY common injury amongst gators. They fight each other for food and space and the leg is the easiest part to grab and "death roll"
Thanks for the content hopefully you find where they got in
