it is nice to see that there are new rav4 that still has a VIN starting from J which translates it from being made in Japan. You can't beat their work ethics and how solid a toyota is if it is made in Japan.

I purchased a 2019 all-wheel-drive RAV4 fully loaded leather seats the whole 9 yards it is the best car I’ve ever purchased for safety and luxury and comfortable Millatti for driving day and especially night driving. I’ve been a Toyota fan all my life but this one here tops to the mall it is extremely well thought out and I just love it thank you.

I bought a 2020 RAV 4 Hybrid XLE Fully loaded and loving it! First oil change, I will get the LED Fog Light replacement pkg. Loving the Toyota Sense 2.0 Less than 500 miles but averaging 36 plus miles per gallon.
Mpg should get better. My gas XLE is doing 35 highway
I’m so glad to hear that. Last year I found it absolutely ridiculous that the RAV4 XLE didn’t have a power driver seat. Who needs a sunroof anyway! XLE AWD coming to us soon!

@@Miguel195211 If you're still curious, its not. You can barely even hear that its on. Also when you stop at lights, its nearly silent.
@@ShunRay I think he meant during acceleration. The 2019 had horrible engine noise.
Great review as usual, Jeff! The RAV4 XLE with no options is almost perfect, a real sweet spot deal. Everything you need, nothin' you don't. And looks pretty good compared to other medium size SUVs. Nice color in your reviewed model! Throw in the all weather mats and a few more things. And AWD and think about adding the convenience package. ... Oh well, guess I'd better stick with my old 2008 RAV4 since I got a 2019 Camry SE last year!
You and Alex showed me what I Wanted to know. I chose ruby flare pearl FW XLE with convince and audio plus. Had my first Rav4 for 10 yrs. this is my second. Thanks for the attempt at humor!

02:00 The result of staying home due to COVID-19.
Like the RAV4 but it can be pricey. Last fall I was deciding between the RAV4, the CRV and the Hyundai Tucson. The RAV4 has the best looking exterior. The CRV had the best mpgs and slightly more storage room. The test ride for all 3 was similar. The Tucson was the only vehicle with both leather and ventilated seats. Hyundai came down a lot on the price and gave me the most money on my trade in. Therefore I went with the Tucson.
I'm going through the same decision process for my teens. I crossed off the CRV (1.5L turbo engine) because I don't think it will be as maintenance-free as the RAV4. I don't like small turbo engines. The Hyundai is very pretty with great tech, a great warranty and much better price. The only issue is Hyundai will NOT hold its value, so the savings don't mean much if the car deprecates more in the long run. Side note: I bought my teens a 4Runner, they drove it for two years and about 15k miles and I sold it for $800 less than my purchase price. Incredible value retention. Toyotas are easy to sell and worth a lot in used market.
So, I'm leaning toward RAV4. Just need to get the price down. I have quotes that are 3.5% to 6.5% off MSRP. I think I can get it to 10% off MSRP as the pandemic quarantine destroys all auto sales. This is my personal experience and observation.
I am debating between this Rav 4 and the Tucson as well. I am not a fan of the base LE AWD model, and want this XLE AWD it has so many more features. But I can’t afford it. However the 2021 Tucson SEL AWD has all these features and in my price range with incredible warranty package but would rather have this RAV4 Model 😤. I also want the Rav 4 for the value to hold to trade in later.
My question are u happy with your Hyundai Tucson or do u wish u would have got the RAV4 ?

I need a rav4 XLE with convenience AND weather package. Woop woop!
I enjoy my 2019 fully equipped RAV4. Only complaint is that it does have some lag when pressing down the gas pedal. Just something to keep in mind when getting on the highway & you have to slow down to on coming traffic.
Have you tried sport mode? seems to work for me. Normal is a little "laggy" indeed.
It’s got plenty of power for merging onto interstates.
@@JosueRamirez Yeah sport mode is where it's at. Honestly I don't even bother driving in eco or normal and I reserve the other 3 of course if im on that type of terrain.

I'm seriously thinking ( a 1st time really) about the XLE edition in the Lunar Rock color (that and the all weather mats.) We'll see. Plus I love Jeff's reviews ( and information and humor! ) :D
It’s really beautiful. But I prefer pure leather seats and possibly platinum interior designs which I have not seen in any Rav4 model, not even the limited. Beige interior doesn’t seem to march the external color of the 2020 XLE model. Thank you so much for your efforts.

I saw a 2020 for the first time on the street a couple of weeks ago and liked the way it looked in person when previously I didn't like the way it looked just from seeing videos/pictures of it. I can see a hybrid being my next vehicle but with different exterior and interior colors.
I have a 2013 Rav4 XLE AWD and I love it.

We just got one. Wished we could get that grey color. It was going to take forever to get that color so we opted for the white. Awesome car I recommend it to anyone.

Been looking at vehicles & I feel like I’ve been set on a Honda Civic hatchback but after watching your video I think the RAV4 is calling my name. Also looking at Subaru Impreza and Honda Accord.

Damn that fuel economy is good. 35 on the highway??? Ik it’s only fwd, but my 2010 fwd highlander v6 only gets 21-22 hwy. ik it’s a 4 cylinder in this instead of the v6 highlander, but this isn’t much smaller or that much slower. Cars rlly have come a long way

Too bad the Rav4 XLE doesn't have the Qi charger included. I didn't want to upgrade to Limited. Acceleration could be better with a better transmission shifting. Otherwise, perfect.
For those of us that bought a 2019 do you know if its possible to install the 8" screen or a 2020 7" so we can have android auto and Sirius xm ?

We were at a Toyota dealer tonight and the salesman told us that Lunar Rock was a brand new color for 2021! I guess he lied, no surprise there. Fortunately, they didn't have one available so we are buying at a different dealer.

I have a 2020 RAV4 XLE got it brand new last year .. I’ve been noticing a wind noise on my right door passenger side and not so much in my driver’s side now it’s becoming so prominent noise and annoys me ., is this a manufacturer’s defect of insulation ?
Which rav4 trim has the digital rearview mirror? I don’t want to get a hybrid. Do the gas ones have it too???

I have a 2015 rav4 xle. The new models now can get a back ladder on the back to go with a roof rack. Look it up on RUclips.

I was looking at one exactly like that in my dealer's showroom yesterday while I was getting my 4runner inspection. Problem is that I couldn't buy it if I wanted to because all of the salespeople are laid off. Car sales is not life sustaining, but service and parts are. It was a strange experience.

How comfortable is the RAV4 for long drives compared to a large SUV? I've sat in compacts like Kia Sportage many years ago and absolutely hated how uncomfortable they were and swore to myself I'd never buy a compact like that

I saw on another channel that sometimes the RAV-4 will give a low fuel warning when there is still plenty on board. Can anyone concur?
Has everything I want.Not turbo good transmission can tow. Gas mileage good. Getting the xle in green is a pain in the ass. I get my unemployment ill get one in any color.

Because I already got myself the new 2020 Toyota Camry SE AWD White color last week at the Toyota dealership. I am glad I got it the last one on the lot but I should have waited until Fall 2020 of this year because they are going to refesh the new Toyota Camry as a 2021 model year very soon. I just got a 2020 xle premium a few days ago..and honestly..why is the accelatiom from stop SO SLOW??? I went from driving a honda crv (my dad's car) which accelerates beautifully. When I'm at a stop light and the light changes to green...i swear to you all the cars stopped with me accelerates so fast they leave me so far behind...is this normal? My car is brand new.
It is normal and people are putting it on sport mode , that is something that bothered me when I test drive one , I feel my 2016 Rogue runs faster
Yep. Gotta keep it in sport to feel like you have power. Idk why they did that. I like mine anyway.
Or turn off "start/stop". That's what I did to make car feel normal... also turned off lane keep cause it felt like I was fighting my own car

So I been looking at suv/ full size trucks... I do like the look and reliability of Toyota’s and I drive 65 miles daily to work.. so gas sounds good for the rav 4... butttt I do have three kids and I was wondering if this rav 4 would be enough space for them in the back? Anybody can help me out with some knowledge that have this rav 4 .. thank you
Jeff, do you know if it is possible to get the XLE standard and instead of adding the convenience package, just add the power liftgate to the XLE?
Yes, you can get it without the convenience package. If you build & price a car on the Toyota website, it gives you the option to add the convenience package or not. Hope this helps!
