Great class! I’m going to put this lesson into practice, and by practice, I mean repeating it for some time. The longer I can stick with this, the better I believe I’ll be able to internalize it. Thanks!
Absolutely effective lesson you ever filmed for us , that lesson left a great influence on me this is what i prefer your teaching your way of teaching is great which's turn into an awesome 😎.
Can you explain any phrasal verbs for an advanced level? I have got difficulties with them because in Spanish we don't have this kind of verbs. Thanks in advance!!
Hello Harry, long time ago I asked a question here about a proverb we have in Bulgaria and you have it too in english speaking countries: When I was doing this, you were a kid walking under the table . Here continuous tense is used. Non native speakers in slavic coutries when asked to translate it in english immediately go for simple tense: "When I did this you walked under the table" Is this acceptable for you, why continuous tense fits better, would you clarify it, please. I can only trust native speaker Thanks in advance!
Hi. Thank you for your question. We don’t really have this exact saying in English. A more natural way to say it might be: I’ve been doing this since you were a kid/ for ages or I’ve been doing this longer than you’ve been around.
Hello Harry, it's a very common saying in slavic countries, the thing is non native speakers even non native teachers on english translated it as When I did this you walked under the table. Using simple tense. If you choose wrong tense meaning is completely changed. Using simple tense what I'm actually saying? How does it sound in your mind? Thank you your time! Regards
I have an example with Big, it's an anecdote: Little red riding hood was in bed together with the wolf, she was smoking cigarette and said: - I saw big eyes, I saw big ears, I saw big teeth, I saw big feet, but you have disappointed me 😀
We should acknowledge and repeat it as always as needed. Harry is the best Teacher.
Many thanks

what can I say ? Wonderful as usual

What about a 'Big Teacher'?
Big teacher is not a natural collocation in English. Instead you can say a great teacher, a passionate teacher
I have an example with Big, it's an anecdote:
Little red riding hood was in bed together with the wolf,
she was smoking cigarette and said:
- I saw big eyes, I saw big ears, I saw big teeth, I saw big feet,
but you have disappointed me 😀
