remember assassin smash? where each player has a target and if their target is the first to die then they win. i thought of a cool twist nobody knows who eachothers target is but if someone can guess who someones target is then the assassin who got guessed has to lose a stock. if they guess incorrectly then the guesser loses a stock this might need some refining but i think it could be a cool way to turn smash into a social deduction game
resident pikmin nerd here to explain the hocotate bomb lore even if no one asked or cares. Hocotate is the name of Olimar's planet with the space shipping company he works for being Hocotate Freight. The Hocotate bomb is a mini explosive replica of the Hocotate Frieght company ship, the one used in Olimar's final smash, as I'm sure everyone who isn't blind already knew.

To answer y'alls question, Hocotate is a planet in Pikmin (Olimar's home planet, to be exact). It's called the "Hocotate Bomb" because it's based on a space-ship they travel in (I think the one from Pikmin 2), so they just named it after the planet because I don't think that ship has a name. They just down-scaled the ship and turned it into a bomb in Smash because... I dunno, it's funny ig?

I think team morph might actually work well if the morph time was random. Sometimes it can take forever to morph so you can just outright win with the original teams, you can't just kill your teammate and then wait for the consistent morph every minute because it may not morph and you will just lose.
I liked Zach’s idea of causing mayhem, maybe if you kill someone you’re now on their team? Or landing a spike kill specifically to make it harder, feel like it would make it more consistent
they should do a video where you pick random stages and whatever stage they get they have to play a character corresponding to that stage the next game (example, if you get hyrule temple you have to play a zelda character next game)
