Hey boys!! "Rocket" is 6m30s long on the audio version while the video is only 4m30s long. I recommend reacting to the audio version too! It's at least 2 minutes of new and... spicy lyrics 👀
Your Beyoncé reactions are THE BEST Beyoncé reactions on RUclips. I’ve been a Beyoncé fan since 1998 with DC. I love to watch your journey through her catalogue. Congrats on such awesome reactions, guys. Thank you.
I definitely believe she knew. Lemonade came after all the therapy. I believe she discovered right before this album came out. (Thanks to the elevator scene with Solo)
Partition and Jealous go together. Partition is her fantasy of still being his dream girl. At the beginning of Jealous, she wakes up and you get the reality of the disconnect. This album came after she had blue and a lot of it speaks to those postpartum emotions that a lot of women go through.
To answer Ryan at 38:00; Yes, that was her hair at the time. She actually chopped it off during this era. She has since grown it back out and it’s now down to her butt!
Slim Thug and Bun B are rappers from Beyonce's home town Houston. Beyoncé had a boyfriend from high school when she started in the business. He cheated on her and she dropped him and the song Best thing you never had is about him. Beyoncé doesn't talk to Drake anymore, he does have issues.B sang a slower version of XO at Kobe Bryant's memorial, it was his favorite song.
Hi, yes, she knew about the infidelity during this stage. The fight happened at the met gala and then you address it in “Yonce”, of course shit goes down when there’s a billion dollars in an elevator. My thought is this cd was already in process of being recorded and with Lemonade after the twins birth she was finally ready to address everything with her music.
yeah the energy around "xo" has always been labelled as nostalgic which is so true because idk if its the sound of it or the fact that she's basically saying "we don't have time, lets just be together till the end" but its always felt so happy but at the same time sad in a way? it also doesn't help that the video just amplifies that feeling even more haha
Waited to see if a Patreon would say this, but the XO video was shot among regular people like you and me- she actually appeared on the boardwalk in NYC and the people who were actually in the video taking pictures and dancing with her were real people, non actors who were surprised to see her. Also from something I read online Beyonce did cut her real hair into a pixie cut, then got it reshaped into the bob you see in the XO video. Beyonce's real hair has been about mid back length or longer for most of her career, as seen in the Rocket video. But from the sounds of it she definitely was going through something around this time (2013-year the album/videos were made) because she discussed feeling the urge to grab the scissors and chop off her hair- which she did.
I never really like "Mine" I wasn't exactly sure why but I think Nathan hit right on it. It does feel kinda dark. She does have some emotional songs that make feel but this one is somehow different.
Nathan is right. The whole theme of this album is extremely dark, every single video maybe with the exception of BLOW.... this album was hard for me to enjoy but i know alot of people love it. Sidenote, the song Mine is so much better in person. And i think Beyonce chose Drake because he is one of the biggest rappers today, maybe even top 3? He was just as big back then but i agree... i was shocked with the waste of a collab.
@@TOkegbemi who’s spreading lies? That’s my opinion. It sounds like Drake’s writing. I believe he wrote it. He even said in a 2013 Vibe Magazine interview about the collaboration "I had fun with it. I always wanted to write for her. She never really sings that minimal... We'll see where that goes." That implies that he wrote some of her parts, too. Who cares, it’s just music.
@@WelpHereWeAreOnRUclips well since it’s BET, yeah it is a lot of black people. Just didn’t know your reasoning for saying it. I enjoy your reactions. You’re both in my top 5, I just kinda got a little offended.
And please please please watch the Monique tribute to Beyonce if you guys haven't already lol. Its so funny because Oscar winner Monique use to represent for the "BIG GIRLS" so it was hilarious when she took on Beyonce's Crazy In Love live performance rendition lol. This was extremely early in Bey's career
Well to be clear Monique tributed Beyonce twice. Crazy In Love and Deja Vu... it became a running them when she hosted the BET awards lol. U guys probably have the Deja Vu performance since that is the BDAY DVD. Both performances may be on RUclips.

my fav bit is ryan saying something crazy and immediately going "now nathan seriously- it's time to get serious"

You need a spray bottle for Ryan like you do with cats, whenever he starts acting up 😂😂😂

The elevator situation happened after this album was released
Yaaaasssssszzzzz!!! Ryan, you NEVER disappoint!😂😂😂

My God, the third part is finally out, I was looking forward to this moment, I love how real your reactions are ♡
I completely agree on the Drake take!
Literally crying listening to Ryan’s commentary 😭🤣🤣
RYAN, you’re amazing 😂😅

Fun fact: the last song in this video “XO” was Kobe Bryant’s favorite song. Beyoncé sang it at his funeral.

Don't she get cheeky on U Ryan 😂😂😂😂
Ever since she performed 'xo' for Kobe's memorial, I've heard it differently, and I get sad every time. I'm tearing up right now as the song plays.

If no one said it, but while she’s walking down the street in “Jealous” she actually doesn’t know any of the people walking.
Ope, someone said it
I love xo!!! 😘

Justin Timberlake was one of the writers of this song btw
React , lemonade doc.
I wish u were on TikTok too
18:27 💀💀💀💀
Drake made sense since he was a writer on the song
He was a writer on the song because he wrote his verse.
Can you make your reaction to Liam Payne's song Midnight?? It's really good and worthy of appreciation. You should listen to it ❤
Nathan Ryan to nasty hit him
It's okay guys... I don't like Drake either 😂

He wrote his verses only.
