Wolfman Smith Wow that's surprising from what I've seen they were jam packed with cars and people. I thought maybe it was to much for the city to control or something but yeah it makes sense that it's always about the money like anything else.
I heard it was all the rowdiness, drinking and burning rubber at night after the show that City police couldn't control, plus they wanted to charge West Coast Kustoms an exorbitant amont to continue the next year. I sure miss that show.
Back in the 70s i got a ticket from the cops every two blocks for my car too low from white cops go figure i think i got one from that little guy handing out trophies

Damn, I miss that show in Paso. When they moved to Santa Maria it was not the same. I guess I am lucky to have enjoyed it while it was #1...
Not the same at all. Paso was the best
Looks like it was a great show.
Paso Robles raised the cost of having the event there in favor of being known for wine and cheese. That is why.
Ya. They got tired hot rodders taking over the town. But you know the whole town made a killing in sales that weekend every year.

Why did they stop having shows in Paso Robles ?

I had a feeling it was more than they could control anymore. That's a shame.
