YES!!!! Since I saw this movie as a child sometime in the early 90's on TV, I wanted to see this movie again! But I've forgotten the title... Only things I remembered were the lovely undead grandpa and the other dimension behind the walls and the crystal skull. How many times did I imagine there's another world behind my walls as a child.... priceless! :D
Same! Even the stuff I remembered. I thought "what the hell" and went to look for "old horror movie with undead old man with a bluish skull" on Google, but I really wasn't expecting to find anything with a string that vague. This was the second fricking result! Google is scary sometimes.
Same I typed in 1980s movie abondaned mansion with a magic clear crystal skull😂 there's another movie I can't find tge title to from tge 80s where a boy gets trapped in a house and his ftiend comes to save him in roller skates but they have to get past laser beams to get out
Oh most definitely, it’s been hated due to its shift into a more comedic tone but honestly I love it for that reason, it’s the reason why I love Gremlins 2: The New Batch because of how that movie became a live action Looney Tunes movie. Also this movie had a surprisingly emotional moment and I honest to god was sobbing, I never expected to cry in a horror comedy but I definitely welcome its unexpected moments like this.
this amazingly has everything: travels to different but madders dimensions of time, creepy adventures, and hilarious situations full of surprises, this great sequel is all a matchless classic, !EXCELLENT¡.
Great story but with a very bad casting, the main actors look very much like a comedian that ruin the entire film lol...unless they want it to be a comedy but honestly the content can go more far with hunk guy instead of funny guy.
LMFAOOOO it looks like they made the second one more adventurous and upbeat than scary from the first one.. These two are flops. Horrible! Haha seems like a kid that just graduated film school made his first cheap film to test things out or something!! 😅😅😅

I couldn’t remember the title either. So I searched for “80s movie grandfather cowboy zombie”. It was the first result.
Exact same story. I had found the 1st House before but I knew that wasn't the right one. I just now found out there was a House 2.

I used to love this movie as a kid, I'm scared to watch it now knowing its not going to be as good as it was.
It is still awesome! They just don't make movies like this anymore! One of my absolute favorites of all time!
it's...fine. Not a masterpiece but enjoyable for what it is. Lower your expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised

I’m purchasing my copy in a few weeks, I saw this years ago and fell in love with the bizarre humor and its surprising heart that it had.
2024 and I just recommended it to a facebook group. Hilarious and as much fun as Ghostbusters!

Everyone caught on to the ghostbusters theme, take funny actors, put them in a scary scenario and watch them make fun of it.
