I think it's both the necklace and the gold coins from the kill. If you watch closely in the very next scene, where Mel is fighting hand to hand, there are coins flying as she kills those rushing at her. There's also a shower of coins when she blows up the 4 red restraints on her at 4:14.
huh?, the whole danger about mordekaiser is that he is slowly getting the strength to breaks himself out and it’s inevitable, there is no need to blame mel here lol. The black rose is trying to gather strong people to fight more and his army, so they want mel on their side to do so, sure she’s against them right now but she can’t topple to black rose lol, the just need to communicate their big picture to her, which they haven’t done yet.

Mordekaiser learned a language from the wasteland called ochnun the language of the dead...by using this language Mordekaiser is capable of speaking beyond the veil of death, him able to deceive mortals from the material realm to resurrect him...again... Mordekaiser is not capable of letting himself set free by himself by gathering strength from the wasteland..it needs someone to resurrect him in order for him to be brought back to the material realm matter in fact him gathering strength from the wasteland is quite not the things his doing right now instead of gathering strength he's gathering armies to conquer the world
@@v4lknutstudios I was mostly referring to Darius. Trundle is also still bigger than Darius by a lot. I'm not sure of actual sizes in lore but they do have a habit of changing the lore a bit to make them sync up more. They did throw out the original league lore once before as you might know.
Riot has switched to a 3 season per year model in LoL. The rumor is the new champion for S2 will be a new Darkin character. Mel is the new champion for S1.
Theory time: My thoughts are that this is a younger Darius, years before the establishment of the Trifarix. Maybe right after he has become the Hand? I also think that the Silken Dance isn't a one time game event, but rather a Black Rose tradition used to conduct sensitive business and scout new possible members. I think Arcane happens much earlier on the timeline than most fans think and that the next show should pick up with Mel and her return to Noxus as matriarch of the Mardardas. Boram Darkwill should still be ruling Noxus, and this should be before the the 1st invasion of Ionia. I think that the item LeBlanc tricks Darkwill into looking for in Ionia is a Darkin weapon and that is what starts the 1st invasion. We know for Legends of Runeterra that there are Darkin weapons in Ionia, and they do technically let you live forever if your bound to them, so..... Singed being a wanted man in Piltover-Zaun has also fled to Noxus, where he will be recruited by their military to make weapons. The main storyline should be the things happening in Noxus before and during the Ionian invasion, Darkwill's fall, and the rise of the Trifarix. I want this to be about 4 seasons. I think Rell should be introduced as Mel's unknown twin! Ambessa should have been the person running the Black Rose's mage School/weapons project. It was a deal she made with LeBlanc in order to add mages into her bloodline. According to the deal, she was to give all arcane gifted children to the Black Rose for training, but she hid Mel's power instead and sent her to Piltover partially for that reason. Mel and Rell, I think that would be interesting. We might get a few scenes of the war because the latter half of this show, Seasons 3 & 4, take place during the Ionian invasion, but it shouldn't really focus on that. The main plot should focus inside the political machinations NoxusI I would have the next show after Noxus, be in Demacia. It would be 5 seasons. S1 would start about a year or so before the Noxus show ends. It would set up characters like Lux, Garen, Jarvan IV, Sylas, and Fiora, as well as have major flashbacks to Targon with the story of Pantheon, Kayle, and Morgana. S2-S4 would address the system of the mageseekers, continue progression of the Kayle/Morgana story, give side stories for Shyvana and Fiddlesticks and show the creation of Galio. S5 would have the full outing of Lux as a mage and the full Mage Rebellion. In the very last episode Jinx would show up to help Demacia rebuild and restructure their society and start to build a life long friendship with Lux. This canonically should start around the same time as the last year of Arcane's story, Outside of flashbacks, this should be about a 5 year story. Sometime after the Noxus show ends, but before the Demacia show does, a theatrical movie release should happen. It should be a story about Jinx in a Bilgewater adventure. That is where she headed after leaving Piltover-Zaun. After a high speed, adrenaline pumping, gun blazing pirate adventure with Miss Fortune, and being tested by Illoai, she should head to Demacia. The events of this movie should happen a few weeks after the events of the Ruin King game. They could introduce Nilah here and coincide a new champion drop ingame with Jack, The Winner! He's a badass Sharkman who made some unknown deal with Tahm Kench. Also, in LoR Miss Fortune has a monkey idol that is stated to have been taken by her form some old enemy. Also, there is a slot machine robot that had a 3 bomb jackpot and actually blew up the 1st time someone hit it. They've since fixed the robot but removed the bomb function.. I think it would be cool if Jinx was the original designer of the robot and made the idol in a buhru temple.
The large structure where Mel is is a Noxtura, its a monument Noxus builds on roads of controlled territory , the always are meant to show the way to the Immortal bastion, and the carvings depict history of Noxus, that said this one seems to be connected to the Black Rose, so thats probably why Mels magic reacted there. From Vladimirs reaction I assume the symbol at the end is supposed to represent a Darkin weapon, LeBlancs lore begins around the time of Mordekisers reign, we dont really have any evidence she was around during the Darkin Wars, unlike Vladimir, which is why he would have a visceral reaction to it unlike her, he personally witnessed the Darkins might and the fact that celestial intervention was needed to deal with them, he would be very reluctant to dabble with them.
@@Cheynayful My trepidation is around how well they can handle changes to the lore ... S2 really did not fill me with confidence regarding them messing up some of the more fundamental aspects of the lore
Darius did NOT touch True Ice. His axe has runic magic. It can dissipate/nullify other types of magic to a certain extent, which allowed it to damage Trundle's club. However, it couldn't do it completely, the axe was enchanted by True Ice. Had Darius picked up the club, he would been a goner, but because he picked up the axe, he only hurt his hand. His gauntlet provide some protection as well. If he had grabbed that axe with his bare hand, he probably would have, at the bare minimum, lost his hand. Also, Trundle's club will fix itself.
For me, rather than a darkin weapon, looks more like rivens sword, remember thst riven blades is infused with rune magic from the black rose, just like ambessas. 😮
No it's not, the eye is in a different position, the shape of the dagger is way different and Naafiri doesn't have a handguard. + Naafiri is shuriman, not related to Noxus at all.
Saw a breakdown that was pretty convincing that the blade is Eclipse from in game. I don’t know. Could relate to Mt. Targon or something and Pantheon being Mel’s dad?
Aatrox doesn't have an eye on the weapon and Aatrox has had a body host for a long time. It's not Aatrox nor Naafiri, we don't even know if it's a darkin really.
LMAO Maybe, but it is an American gaming company. In 10+ years of playing and watching League related videos, I don't think I've ever seen a riot employee or character pronounce it correctly. 😆
Watching you getting excited recognizing the characters was very entertaining :D
The people that Mel is fighting are likely the grey legion and hemomancers.
The gold from Katarina killing the guy at the party aren't coins, they're links from his necklaces.
I think it's both the necklace and the gold coins from the kill. If you watch closely in the very next scene, where Mel is fighting hand to hand, there are coins flying as she kills those rushing at her. There's also a shower of coins when she blows up the 4 red restraints on her at 4:14.

He does look a bit tiny lol
@@jms418p2Are you for real? The Trundle is small asf, if you saw Ryze cinematic, Trundle should be much bigger

Arcane takes place at the early days of runeterra and this cinematic takes places just after that. Thats why people are younger/tiny

If you look closely it's like it has some kind of eye, it really might be a Darkin, or a demon like Atakhan.
Yeah It’s Darkin.
Its Naafiri’s dagger

I doubt it.
If they're doing Darkin, they're 100% doing Aatrox, not Naafiri.
Isn't that dagger Mel's family sigil? Did I mistaken it?
Cassiopeia is the one who is a member of the black rose.
And is also katarina sister
Both Cassiopeia and Elise are from the Black Rose. Probably Talon too in the future.
