On top of the monument it is a 23 tons of gold mixed with bronze to described as fire symbolized the spirit of Indonesia. You can get to the top of the monument and view the panorama of Jakarta. I was born in this city and am proud of it :)

8:00 Those buildings look like European buildings because it used to be the Dutch Government buildings during the Dutch Colonnial Era. You can find them in Jakarta's Kota Tua which means Jakarta's Old Town, Bandung's Braga District, and Jogjakarta/Yogyakarta Malioboro Street as far as I know, altho there might be some more like the ruins of old fortresses which still intact but I don't know where it is. But the oldest and largest buildings in Indonesia are Borobudur and Prambanan temple from the 8th Century (year 700 A.D) which is 1,300 years ago, they look like Angkor Wat but in Indonesia and they are a Buddhist and a Hindu temple respectively, Borobudur is also the largest Buddhist temple in the world located in Indonesia the largest Muslim country haha. They are the remnants during an era before Indonesia's major population converted to Islam, Indonesia was once a Buddhist/Hindu countries just like Bali (Indonesia's region) and other Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and Vietnam, hence the similar culture even tho we're mostly Muslims now.
There are still many beautiful cities in Indonesia. The city of Surabaya is also beautiful. Sulawesi. Bandung. Yogyakarta. Malang.sumatera, Kalimantan. And there are many more cities in Indonesia.Indonesia has 93 autonomous cities and 5 cities administrative regions.
