Hey Hal !!! Great advise as ""Swamp Loggers "" learnt the hard way about chains & towing their ""New ""KW & ended up with $$$K in damages when the chain broke & ended up on the cab roof !! 👍👍👍👍👍
Mr Hal to the rescue 😊that operator very lucky like you said. I went to winch out a big forklift at a marina that they tried to pullout with a 1inch diameter rope with their single axle tractor rope snapped and went through the back window and caved in the back of the cab. Operator was lucky that day also 😊. Take care and stay safe.
I saw the rubber burn marks on the road and figured they tried, screwed stuff up, and then did what they should have done in the first place. Extremely lucky.
Wow, I didn't notice the broken windows, thought the headlights looked broken. Yes that was one very very lucky operator. I always use some type of a supressor on the chain, cable, strap, and etc.
That thing doesn't have all wheel drive. Surprised, but it is a very expensive piece of equipment that only municipalities and Gov't can afford as they have free money. The operator should have let you pull him out without him spinning the wheels. Another job well done.
That ol' truck sounded pretty good going through the gears at the beginning of the video! 😎 It was also nice that you had a highway truck acting as a blocker for you. Did you have to call him, or did he just see you there and decided to help?
Should have spent a few hundred dollars to get the job done right the first time and not to create 10k in damages .. Great Video Mr Hal How did Sumter make out during the Hurricane
