First Anniversary concert better than this one because this was shorter :(( I noticed they made so much web events (more primos) but shorter concert whyyyyyyy. Though if that fanmade concert counts, then I guess it's the same as last year's duration.

i wonder why hoyo doing this kind of setting.. last year was great because the character themes were being played on a big stage like a concert with powerful lighting on the back which totally give the concert feelings. but this time..most of them were done in set and the background is underwhelming..and also, it doesnt feel like a concert but like watching PV/MV. signora and raiden have great live sound but a bit underwhelming.. at least for signora, they definitely can do it in choir like setting.. and why they reduce the number of characters theme though? and too much of sumeru? i mean, kazuha, ayato, yae are definitely fan favourite.
They are just different takes, the music is what matters, here the musicians are "jamming" a lot more and giving each character theme their own new spin. The Korean band from last year stuck more to the original themes and the focus was more on the stage and scene. I think both are great, but more importantly, it is necessary to have variety, if it was just this type of concert every year or if it was just the same type of concert as last year, every year, then it would become too predictable
My guess two reason why some feel less than last year. Budget, they did sign a contract with ufotable and had bunch of other event including fan concert. Second Covid. Few month ago, when they would be working on the concert, covid hit hard in China. Probably disrupt their work.
I do agree, they ruined raidens beat drop and I don't like shenhe's theme that much, but maybe (at least i think) band maid may have tooken alot of their budget for the concert ( I think their popular).
@@VaioletteWestover nah..im not complaining the musician on the new interpretation they added to the song, but it more about how there is no 'concert' feel in the so-called concert. actually, it looks like all the bands(except the choir) were 'lip sync' and overdid their expression like typical music video. for me, they really should playing on a big concert stage instead of a set. because it is painfully obvious that the band isnt playing the song live and the music attached to the clip is obviously has been 100% processed for CD distribution. if they released the clips one by one and write it as 'special band version', then is ok but hoyo called this a concert seems wrong..
Not interesting compare to the last year...this year the concert more like playing bgm music and then add guitar,drum cover to it..we cant see other instrument being played make it less interesting..i expect more especially raiden theme..
