Working as a private duty nurse I can remember sitting on a couch with the tiny toddler patient sleeping in a play pen . While I worked the 11 PM to 7:30 AM not doing anything but fighting sleep as I was not an night owl I was allowed to watch TV while making sure my patient was safe , I remember telling myself " god I'm going to die" then these old Sherlock Holmes TV shows came on, suddenly, hope and stamina came , thanking god ..I then made it trough the shift.
How I do wish that I could have lived when Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson lived in merry ol’ England , with all of the fog and the horse 🐎-drawn carriage, in the streets of London, a simpler time, prior to the internet and the telephone 📞 😮
How I wish I had the luxury of musing about going back in time. Alas, the past is always a more frightening and dangerous time to live unless you are a straight white man. Enjoy.
@16:45 if Watson wasn't so happy and Sherlocks decision on where to go why doesn't he just go home of course not he's his side-kick he wouldn't know what to do with himself 😜😜😜😜
Notice both ends of the stage was covered. At 20:11, on the right side of stage (our right), it is Sherlock's hand that reaches for the beard and for the 2nd attempt on the left end, it's Watson's hand. No loose ends in the direction of this episode. No Sir.
Thanks for the download!!! Love watching the real episodes of sherlock holmes instead of the latest watered-down knockoffs
I love these old Sherlock Holmes episodes. These two have great chemistry.
All the players, the character actors are awesome.
Really good show!
I agree! : )

11:27, Holmes & Watson go to Caruthers.
The scene where Holmes 🍺 drinks a liquid reminds me of Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde 😢

Love this Sherlock Holmes❤️❤️
I do hope that the poor cat 🐈 shown in the video was able to obtain something to eat and drink 😮❤
The wife of the condemned gentleman is very attractive, lucky 🍀 him 😮
Who is that extra that always wears a large-checkered "loud" overcoat seen standing or walking down the streets in this series???
I wonder if it isn't Sheldon Reynolds making a Hitchcock-like cameo?
