This was a great tutorial. It reminds me of making snowflakes when I was a child. I have a suggestion for those punches where the opening was not deep enough. I remember having that problem a while back. What we did was to remove the stop that keeps it from going further back. So on the punch that was blue, look at the side on the part that is a light tan color. If that part has line in it that indicates how it was inserted at the factory, putting a little pressure on it will cause it to be able to be removed and it will be just as wide as the one that you used at the beginning of the tutorial.

I suggest you punch out shapes with a coloured piece of paper and stick it on your punch so you know, what shape it will punch. I hope this helps. Lovely doilies. Thank you so much.

Hanny, this is beautiful! If you can't reach the center of your paper, you can continue to fold until you can, so your holes are wherever you want them.
I am reminded of making paper snowflakes! How fabulous to translate it into a doily, of course it makes sense :D
Haha zo leuk zeg, Hanny. Ik knipte als kind ook kleedjes. Wat een snippers maakte dat! Nu ben ik veel aan het knutselen enzo, en ga dit ook weer eens doen voor in mijn scrapbook!
Ik woon in Australie en ze kennen hier geeneens vouwblaadjes, vlechtstroken en sitspapier! Maar er is wel sinds de laatste paar jaar origami papier, dat zijn ook gekleurde blaadjes.

Those are very beautiful, I like the dots for spacing, I use them in my drawings, I make lots of paper cuts mostly handmade, I love distress inks and a soft sponge to color them on the edges and center,

After punching out what that punch makes, take 1 or 2 and glue or tape onto that punch, it will make it easier to identified what that punch dose.

It’s a photo album. A book where you can glue photo’s in. The paper in between is for protection of the photo’s . I got it from a thrift store.

Als je nu eens bij het scharnierende deel van je tangen met een waterproofstift een tekentje zet of gewoon schrijft wat voor punch het is, scheelt je een hoop gegoochel 🤣🤣🤣
