Didn the saw struggle getting through that log ? Is it on par with a petrol chainsaw like husqvarna of the same bar length ?

It didn’t struggle but it does cut a lot slower compared to say a Stilh ms231. It has the same amount of power as a stilh ms170. I really shouldn’t be using it for a job like that, where it’s good is when you’re frequently stopping and starting with one cut here than one cut over there because you just push a button to start it. It’s also good that you can take it inside a car and not have to worry about the petrol smell.

@grazierguy I ask because I'm thinking of getting rid of my petrol husqvarna 14 inch bar chainsaw with a battery powered one like the duc 405 and buying a bigger bar petrol chainsaw like an 18 inch one so I can cut branches and small stuff with the battery powered one and the other for the bigger stuff. What's the maximum size Diameter log you would cut with the battery powered chainsaw please?
