- Country superstar Kellie Pickler was here to show Ellen her new look. After her close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, the two then faced losing her hair -- together, with a new haircut.

You know I have always loved Kelly's beautiful voice, but really what makes her special is her heart, and her love for God!
My husband and I shaved our heads Christmas eve shortly after my dad started chemo. He wasn't someone who usually showed emotion. It was obvious how much it meant to him when we took our hats off Christmas day!
Geographical knowledge doesn't make a person any better or worse. The human race puts so much emphasis on intelligence that we forget that being a good person is so much more important.
Look at Kellie, she is a remarkable person. She doesn't know her mum, her dad's in and out of prison, she was raised by her grandparents, she's been through her grandma dying and her friend getting cancer. Still she manages to be positive and have a good life.

I heard about your story when she was on dancing with the stars. Her hair was very short, but it was my favorite. Kelly has the face for short hair, and she was great on dancing with the stars they could not have paired her with a better pro than Derechos.

I remember when this happened the morning anchor on the local news in my area was making fun of her, calling her "Britney" and such. This was around 6 in the morning, yet the station was deluged with angry phone calls. A short time later he apologized on air once he was made aware of the whole story. They must have really laid into him good because he was actually shaking when he made that apology

You really think that the human race puts so much emphasis on intelligence? Firstly, that is an extremely hasty generalization, as I have met plenty of people entirely content with being illiterate. Furthermore, the atrocious state of American education proves contrariwise. The issue isn't that we don't know what to do, but that we don't care enough to implement what we know is effective. That and politics. Also, while being a good person is great, actions can cause harm when done thoughtlessly.
