Either or both. A question best aimed toward the people who made it. But I will say that there are plenty of tinted or mirror-fi ish SCBAs IRL. A neighboring department to mine had MSAs with silver mirror finish tint, couldn't see the faces at all. No idea what the purpose was but it looked cool

What do you use to make yourself muffled on radio and in game, I know there is a script for the SCBA thing in game but how do you do it for radio as well.
I do it in post while editing. Although! If you want it in real-time, I recommend taping a solo cup above your mic and just talk directly I to that. Same effect!
They probably did it as a precaution. It turns out that most AMAs that happen in SA'F turn out to be an actual fire lol. Been a while since we had a false alarm
