Great Video, Great Effort! You captured the difficulty of this year's ride perfectly, and you did it! Congratulations for persevering, so many got to Lunch and bailed, your video is the first I've seen that captures how horrid Road 2 was. (We left the log on the right of the deepest crossing so you had an option to walk the log and use your bike for balance. My wife did that during trail prep.)
Thanks for checking out the vid, mick... Yea it was a tough one but a great experience overall.. Yes that crossing was soo deep, I thought about using the log but then just decided to ride it cuz I had already been riding through all the other flooded parts....
Nicely done and congrats on finishing. I did my first Ididaride 20 years ago and have pretty done them every year since except when my wife and I are cycling around the world. These longer events are very addicting so be careful before you know it, you'll be looking at the ORAMM, Cohutta 100, PMBAR, Santos 12 hour solo, and many others. Once those events aren't enough there is Randonneuring and then cycling around the globe. ;-) Cheers and happy cycling! ~Ron
Appreciate you checking out the vid... That's awesome..the bug is already there... I am probably going to attempt the Santos epic 50 next and then the Graham 360 race the very next week after... 😂😂
You blew past me in the first leg and 2nd leg and I was worried you might bonk. Glad you were able to find pace and finish. It was my first "50" mile as well. Was a tough one. 5:04
yea the mud/water definitely made it hard this year. my shoes were soaked at the 6 mile mark and there were so many long stretches of mud/water later on
Yea man.... Just when you thought they were over with... Another long stretch of mud and water was right around the corner to greet you... My shoes were completely soaked as well at the 6 mile mark.... And then again in the 42 mile mark with that deep creek crossing
Thanks for checking out the vid.... Yea it was a muddy mess this year and it was unseasonably hot, 80 degrees in the afternoon ... I haven't ridden the tour de Felasco... May try that one next year... 🤙🤙
@@offthegridoverland4425 honestly for me it was word of mouth... The big ones are Ididaride, tour de San Felasco, Graham 360, Santos epic 50 and gone riding... Most happen earlier in the year... Some in south Florida happen in the summer.. Also go look at Facebook groups about mtb... Ur local area will post events.. Welcome to mtb

Nice video. Too much mud for me. I prefer the Tour de Felasco. 😉
