Dear beloved Thay, I am so happy to see you with well helth. I love you so much. Dear friends, we should prove honor to Thay, we should stand up and we bow to him when he visits our Dharmatalk
Thanks a lot Br Phap Dung for your excellent Dharma Talk. You are a Great Teacher, your wisdom have helped me a lot. I try my best every single moment to live the present moment :). For me it's a blessing to have the oportunity to see our Venerable Thay living his teachings. My honor to Him and His Marvelous Community of Nuns and Monks. Evangelina Cortes.
Thank you so much Br, Phap Dung. Great Dharma Talk full of wisdom. Wonderful opportunity to see Thay, he looks so great! Thank you Thay your students are excellent teachers too. Evangelina Cortes.
I really loved your talk, it's as if for the first time I identify with someone's thought. I confirms that I am not the only one with this reality. It's hard to share with people sometimes because they seem to be so distracted with what's in style or what the society approves of, even if it is a wrong action like killing animals to eat(I'm so glad i'm finally a vegetarian and going for vegan). I especially like how you talk about the modern slavery which I find so true!! we need to wake up! thank you so much for your teachings, has made a big difference in my life.... I hope you can make more videos...
Modern life is "modern slavery". Good to hear it from him, I wish more buddhist teachers would take this stance with their students, instead of finding new cute ways to reinterpret what renunciation is
THE world is too much with us; late and soon, Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers: Little we see in Nature that is ours; We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon! The Sea that bares her bosom to the moon; The winds that will be howling at all hours, And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers; For this, for everything, we are out of tune; It moves us not.--Great God! I'd rather be A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn; So might I, standing on this pleasant lea, Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn; Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea; Or hear old Triton blow his wreathed horn. William Wordsworth 1806
