By keeping his hip hop style from which he came from since his debut with 2pm really defined his actual character as someone who won't lose his direction and simply stick with his stuff. I really think that the reason I was watching 2pm a few years ago was truthfully because of him due to the irregular style that he brought to the k-pop stage. There was hip hop before his debut, but they didn't get the presence right. So, respect to Jay in this aspect.
