Grew up with 'Bing' being the Christmas voice in our old Canadian home as an old tradition. It's still not the same without him & the 'Coca Cola' Santa who was everywhere. He's still the only depiction of 'Nick' in my mind though I've just learned recently that Santa was originally an elf ! - so, no wonder he could get down stove chimneys in the days before before he became a serious drinker and became a serious sugar addict & put on weight) An uncle 'Arnold' was a 'Hollywood' celeb photographer and his wife 'Roseanne', a wonderful woman, was a baby-sitter of 'Bings' at some point or other in time. Sure wish I knew more of their story . . . .
