Fun Fact: After Hiro Onoda was a bit of a local legend on the island he was located on. Like a bogey man. He would occasionally take pot shots at the locals, probably killing several over the years. And he wasn’t alone. He had people with him up until the last 5 years or so of his “mission.” When he finally did return to Japan he became a National hero and would do motivational speaking for children.

That’s insane….such a wacky story… if you’ve heard of hardcore history by Dan Carlin his supernova in the East series talks about him. Really interesting to hear his take on it

Apparently, he started an educational camp for young people after he read about a Japanese teenager who murdered their own parents.
His wife did arrange a 10,000 dollar scholarship to a local school there some years later.

I'm from the Philippines, the local call him there crazy old japanese because he still sabotaging the crops of the local by destroying and stealing it but the local there know where the cave he hide they just don't care cuz they pity him and the people there is kind. Sometimes when they see him in farm they just "shoo! Shoo!" Like a bird destroying the farm. Some story about him is so exaggerated, some say japanese explorer found him bro that japanese is in our local television random stories.

Unit 731's research being used and taken is good IMO because at least the victims' sacrifices weren't in vain and we have a better scientific understanding of the human body, biology, and chemistry.
If we tossed the research out them they died for nothing.

My grandfather was enlsited in the 85th Mairine airborne division during the pacific campaign. He always shares the story of how to keep warm after a combat situation he would inseminate multiple enemy and ally corpses. Only to then extract the fluids that excreted from any point to create a bone marrow supplement company found nationwide in your Local GNC

Love your videos my dude. Can we call "conspiracy theories" "unconfirmed rumors" or something else?
I really wish it didn't bother me enough to comment, buuuut... I also really hate to nit pick, because your style is awesome and I have watched and enjoyed all your videos greatly.
IMHO it's one of those CIA created polarized phrases that needs to die due to it's inherent negative connotations, or on the flip side, gets any person who "wants to believe"- "if it's a conspiracy theory it's gotta be true!".
Anyway, just trying to provide some constructive criticism and I've got full faith you could come up with a much more intelligent sounding term. 🤟🧙‍♂️🤙
