    I have so much respect and admiration for Marcus for his dedicated service to our country and I'm equally impressed and admire his wife Amber for her strength and dedication to her family and supporting Marcus when he was going through his struggles after retiring, I watched his interview with Shawn Ryan and it was very inspirational. Thank you David for your great work.

    This guy is inspiring AF! I loved his appearance on the Shawn Ryan Show. I'm not a veteran, but psychedelics saved my life as well. I was a fuck up who grew in jails and institutions as a juvenile and then maximum security prison as a young man. Everything stemmed from not having a male role model and my addiction. Ayahuasca helped me overcome all kinds of trauma and bitterness. I now have a beautiful family and have been married for 13 years and have a solid relationship with God. I owe it all to Ayahuasca. His story (although so different from mine) also had a lot that I related with. Thanks for having him on.

      We all have our path to walk and everything happens for a reason. Glad you're on a solid footing now and able to reflect on your path, why you're here and what you can do for yourself and others around you. I wasn't far from going your route myself but fate took me another way through a complex series of "coincidences". Many friends of mine are now dead or in prison, some for life. I'm now happily married and working abroad in a field I'm passionate about and excited about life.
      All the best to you, mate. May fate be your friend.

    MY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ONLY
    I have heard of psychedelics but only in da sense of ppl having extreme 'trips' of enlightenment. I did not know they are being tested & could actually be used for medical purposes! I had read of several, yall mentioned, being originally made for health reasons but then realized wacky side effects then caused em 2 be 'abused' 2 get da high.
    I do hope trials go well 2 get approved for da good of all ppl & not jus bigfarma's pockets. We see too often when something seems promising a mass disappearance of certain ppl or mysterious deaths(homeopathic docs, medical cures, whistleblowers, etc), only becuz it'd cause some individuals 2 probly lose billions.
    I would love 2 get off all my meds!!

      @@MrCashewkitty Truly Tier 1 these lot. Grenades in a hostage rescue. Genius.

    • @danielcampbell9457
      @danielcampbell9457 8 месяцев назад +2

      no that was silver squadron and for whatever reason someone put a frag on there back, (where ONLY flash grenades should be) instead of a crash so "allegedly" the 2nd guy went to grab what he thought was a 9 banger flash grenade (crash) off the first guys back. so was it there own fault and fuxk up?, undoubtedly yes, they coldnt blame anyone else even if they wanted to, did they own it and never make that mistake again, yes. silver was stood up directly after extortion 17 so they were a BRAND NEW tier 1 unit, granted they had veteran operators from the other 3 squadrons to help backfill until silver filled up and had expierenced operators in it ranks. it was there first HR and truely there first major op. period. outside of the typical tier 1 HVT/HVI raids. shit Delta failed there very first mission, the SAS and SBS have failed missions. so that shit even happens to the best in the world. But as marcus brings up in this interview, devgru always wanted to be more cowboyish and bend n break the rules and that lack of integrity and professionalism is what inevitably leads to fuck ups like accidently "un-aliving" people ur supposed to rescue.

    • @jamestalbot9190
      @jamestalbot9190 8 месяцев назад +1

      @danielcampbell9457 yeah but there's failing a HR Mission and then there's throwing a frag on a hostage.
