- Dolly Parton interviewed after court, about her song 9 to 5. The Goldbergs, filed a copyright infringement suit against Dolly Parton in 1985, claiming she stole '9 to 5' from their song 'Money World'.

I remember when this happened. Dolly was ultimately found not guilty of copyright infringement. So funny at the end where Dolly's lawyers were trying to get her to stop talking (probably afraid that she'd inadvertantly say something that could harm her case), but Dolly wanted to stay and chat with her fans.

As another great woman says "if you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory" Dolly is the most genuinely honest people I've ever come across. This is why she could do this interview with ease and ultimately why she won the case and thankfully, given the fact not many people know about the lawsuit and the movie and aong are !ore popular than ever, Dolly's fears of a tarnished reputation never came to fruition.
Don't be embarrassed Dolly. There are alot us out that LOVE YOU DEARLY and have the UTMOST FAITH AND RESPECT FOR YOU.
