Thanks actual human narration and NO commercial breaks. Both AI and interruptions would have stopped me in my tracks when they first appeared.

Thank you for the free audiobook!!
This was a great story! I think it's the third or fourth that I have read in the 'Matthew Hill' series from Teresa Driscoll. Wonderful twists and turns and you'll never see the ending coming!
Teresa Driscoll has an amazing way of getting you connected with her story and you get to a point of not wanting to put the book down. You NEED to know what happens next...you feel incomplete if you don't listen to the next chapter. If that wasn't good enough the narrators bring this story to life in way that AI NEVER could.
You'll really enjoy this one!! 💜💜💜

They can hear ( in most instances) i believe that. Because there are too many who have survived and can recall what was said. My ex being one of them. Yes, assume they can hear!

    Synopsis:
It’s their daughter’s graduation and Rachel and Ed Hartley are expecting it to be one of their family’s happiest days. But when she stumbles and falls on stage during the ceremony, a beautiful moment turns to chaos: Gemma has been shot, and just like that, she’s fighting for her life.
PI Matthew Hill is one of the first on the scene. A cryptic message Gemma received earlier in the day suggests someone close to her was about to be exposed. But who? As Matthew starts to investigate, he finds more and more layers obscuring the truth. He even begins to suspect the Hartleys are hiding something big―from him and from each other.
While Gemma lies in hospital in a coma, her would-be killer is still out there. Can Matthew unravel the family’s secrets before the attacker strikes again?

I love the narrator and this looks like a really good book, but being from the United States I cannot Read about another mass shooting, which is a common occurrence over here perpetuated by our leaders. Leaders it's too sad in real life and this won't be an escape for me.

Love the book...BUT why do you have a male doing the female parts when you also have a female reader? The male doing female sounds disturbing.

Good storyline, plenty of twists and turns and unstable characters 😂
I did, however, find Matthew a bit cheesy and annoying. The female narrators were very good though.
