as an editor, i spend HOURS on my edits (i don’t make roblox edits, my edits r on celebrities) and i’ve been editing for 6 years and it’s so annoying when capcut editors just use a template, upload it and get millions of views, like we really need to show some actual editors some love.

not all capcut Editors use templates. when I first heard of editing and wanted to try it I got Capcut and the templates helped me learn the basic steps of editing I soon became a regular editor and actually edited

Well, we actually do! Im quite… ‘skilled’ with capcut, but it generally takes at least 30-2 hours to make a decent edit. Once i made an edit in around 10 hours (not straight, throughout a week or so) and someone literally thought it was an ae edit-

As an after effects editor, I spend to much time making edits for then people to just post templates that took them like 2 seconds. Not to be rude ofc just stating my opinion. I used to use templates, that’s how I learned. Just maybe try looking at some tutorials? That helped me a lot when I first started editing.
I can relate sm to this tbh lol- I usually take 10-20 min to make a simple edit but,when I make like actual actual edits I take almost 2 hrs bc Capcuts new update makes me struggle..(including overlays,coloring,text masking,watermark,and etc.) Also as a very small channel and mid talent, I also dont get lots of views. It's actually rare if I get 1k-2k views. For example my latest videos havent been getting lots of views but when I use templates I get almost 3k views-what?💀
Ikr!! I don't really struggle with capcut but when (for example) don't put any effort it's like 500-1k views but when I literally put my soul into this it's like 15-30 views 💀

As someone who uses Alight Motion and After Effects, it does kinda make me mad that people who use templates get lots of attention, while people who spend way more effort often don‘t get as much.

Y'all just to let you know a creator named Lauren made a edit and capcut stole it and made it a template 😭 Just imagine if they do that to other edits too! The edit she made was a "videogame lover" involving a nintendo switch in it. Capcut made small changes such as including a pacman game and putting their logo on a certain part to show that it's "theirs" when it's not. Tell me if I got anything wrong! (Don't take this as if capcut steals every edit and makes it a template, capcut makes edits of their own also.)
