Considering how old this this... the sound quality is pretty darn good! Thanks for the upload! A couple of stand outs for me are 'Cynical' and 'No Respect'... I like the looping audio at the end there! 🍒🎶🎸❤🔥
They are firing on all cylinders in 2024 touring but this gem back in 95 with Cynical and No Respect on the set list warms my heart. Those two songs flat out rock and really show what this band was about in the 90's trying to fight the god awful stinch that was grunge
Bettencourt is from another planet! And Cherone is an incredible front man. I don't know why people never really took to him..if they had, I think Extreme would be up there with the greats of all time. I think he's amazing.
What a show that was. Gem of an upload. Transports me back to the barrowlands gig in Glasgow. Opening with never been funked, then get the funk out. What a gig that was. Mike Mangini.... Wow
The best band in the world at their peak. Anyone who says Bettencourt doesn't belong in the all-time greats conversation with Page, Beck, Clapton, Hendrix and Van Halen needs to cut back on the LSD.
Wow... Many thanks for posting this ! Best band ever. They were killers then and still are ! But Nuno was very shy and discreet, that’s weird seeing him like this 😁 EXTREME... ❤
I saw them on New Year's Eve, 1990 at Hammerjack's. I was about 10 feet from the stage. Alice in Chains opened for them, this was before AIC was known. Extreme blew them off of the stage.
58:27 Nuno Looks at Mangini and says we were on the same level the whole song, go back and listen to Play With Me and see what I'm talking about, NUNO is just as much a percussionist as the next drummer
Came here to say this. I wish I'd gotten to see them on the Punchline tour. Devastating heaviness. They finally reached their potential as a live band and then they broke up.
Huge mangini fan. But didnt think he was a great fit for Extreme. K-Figg definitely locks in the funk/groove better IMO. Mangini was being stifled in the funkier stuff. Crazy chops though.
Looks like maybe an attenuator for more output from the amp? I know Nuno was using a '63 Vibroverb with all the settings dimed during this era so he probably also used an attenuator for more distortion? Not too sure.
Ths band is.... was..... hopefully will be...... one of the greatest bands of all time. Three different drummers, all outstanding.... Paul, Mike, and K-Figg..... goddamm, I would take any of them in any band I wanted to start.......... then consider Nuno, Pat, and Gary....... you have the Best of the Best, and the music is second to none. Gary Cherone IS one of the greatest vocalists ever, I will debate you on this point. I think Extreme didn't ascend to the top of rock "stardom" because they are just too good. The general public wanted pop pablum, Extreme brought the substance and content. Stated again, one of the greatest bands ever. Period.
Holy cow, Mangini lighting a fire under their asses! I personally prefer K-fig for the band but this is some serious, almost speed metal stuff going on during this tour. He’s pushing the beat the whole time, kinda reminds me of RHCP’s mother’s milk album for that reason
Weird seeing a singer starting a concert with his back to the crowd. Watched a few minutes but it’s hard to listen to gary cherone in this one. Saw them in Ireland around the same time and I don’t remember his vocals being so bad.
YUP I haven't even been listening to extreme that long but I immediately clocked Geary as an immense talent. Like you said, he just swings so naturally. Astounding player
I can't believe Nuno Bettencourt got married again. And I love this band so very much. But the blonde hair is too much I prefer his natural hair color.

This video is gold. It's so hard to find live footage of 'Cynical'. And also, that Drum Solo after it is incredible
im a nirvana fan.... but i have the highest respect n regard for Nuno B...... awesome guitarist /songwriter..

Thank God someone posted this show. This was clearly the strongest era rhythmically in extreme's history. 🔥

Agreed!!! Jimi is my #1 but Nuno is my #3....
When Jimmy Page shows up with John Paul Jones and Robert Plant to watch you play in NY you know you are a musicians musician!
True That 💯 🔥

They've been playing for 123 years? Damn! Iconic band! :-)
@@TonysMusic1974 LOL
Wow, excellent and RARE capture from that time in the band's history. Thx 4 sharing.
1:07:56 Washburn N8, 12 + 6 string guitar. Nice !
Wow great show!! Seen them for the first time in 2014 opening for Sammy Hagar, they where so great!!
i was there good old days
I was AT this show!!!!
u r the luckiest one
Thanks so much for this.. \m/

awsome‼️
I'm jealous of anyone who has seen them live.
Thank you :)
5:33 Oh lol! Nuno hahaha
"...this mic sure isn't very loud!"
lolllllll
I 💘 Nuno Bettencourt so much he's one fine ass Portuguese man🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤🎤🎤🎤🎶🎼🎵💋🤩😍💗💖💘❣️❤️🧡💛💚💙💙💝💕💓💞😎💣🤘👍👊💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Mike Mangini is the only drummer that fits Nuno's talent n percussive style.
Came here to say this. I wish I'd gotten to see them on the Punchline tour. Devastating heaviness. They finally reached their potential as a live band and then they broke up.

Yup. Fair comment. Also MM fills along with little nuances going on melodically js
@@auntydiscoblog
I agree. Still think PG was the best drummer for Extreme. ✌️
Nuno rubio,me encanta
nuno is the GOAT
24:09 - Does anyone know what that white device on the Marshall cab is?
You ever figure it out? Was just wondering the same thing lol
Looks to me like a power regulator.
Looks like maybe an attenuator for more output from the amp? I know Nuno was using a '63 Vibroverb with all the settings dimed during this era so he probably also used an attenuator for more distortion? Not too sure.
It looks like a unit by Groove Tubes. Not sure which tho.

Nice. Did they do a show/tour without playing More Than Words? Reckon it was probably the encore
My band opened this show. After us was Alice In Chains then Extreme. It was just before More Than Words hit big. Had no idea who AIC was.
Couldn’t be this show. This was 1995 more than words was out for years at this point
With the date, you are putting the day first, and month second? Because in July of 1995 they were in England and Japan
Tres peludos y un calvo i love extreme
manghini.... +++!!!WOW!!!+++
My baby with blonde hair WOW
blond Nuno?
Nuno - blondie? Now I've seen anything.
That's right)) I didn't recognize him firstly)
Can you upload this show in HD please! PLEASE!!
Mike Mangini eats LITERALLY the band alive
Holy cow, Mangini lighting a fire under their asses! I personally prefer K-fig for the band but this is some serious, almost speed metal stuff going on during this tour. He’s pushing the beat the whole time, kinda reminds me of RHCP’s mother’s milk album for that reason
I’m pretty sure someone in the crowd is a fan of “Hole Hearted”.
As usual, shout out to Pat Badger! He has always been able to na g note for note with Nuno. Not bad for a pasty faced white boy!
Who is on drums?
i think mike mancini now in dream theater
I think Mike would disagree about being stuck in "4/4 jail". 'Cause GROOOVE!
Jack the ripper
@@shannonbiggers3312 Not only that, but "Cupid's Dead" is a polyrhythmic workout by itself.
mike mangini
Never seen Nuno with blonde wavy hair?
Weird seeing a singer starting a concert with his back to the crowd. Watched a few minutes but it’s hard to listen to gary cherone in this one. Saw them in Ireland around the same time and I don’t remember his vocals being so bad.
Mangini may able to play left or right, but Geary swung harder and his grooves fit better. Extreme will always be 3/4 of the band they used to be.
YUP I haven't even been listening to extreme that long but I immediately clocked Geary as an immense talent. Like you said, he just swings so naturally. Astounding player

This is before the nose job that Nuno got.
?
@@fedefranz Yes got a nose job.
@@lorettasearcy1471 i wonder why he got that
@@fedefranz He didn't like the nose he was born with, he was actually very vain about it.
Mangini is a great drummer but you have to have a groove in Extreme and he doesn't have it...
Best drummer in the world
There is no "best".... There are "favorites"....
Thats what Nuno's for silly.
