This might come as a surprise to you guys, but supercell doesn’t want their games to be bad. The problem is that the monetization system they chose for CR is kinda bad and requires extra attention to work, which supercell has not been providing.

I just figured out the pattern of these lightning strikes.. It isn't just random lightning strikes .. Its a regular lightning extending throughout the arena which strikes the unit with the top 3 highest hitpoints in the arena at that particular instant..
And thats the reason why LEX's evo firecracker wouldnt die at 3:51 and instead it strikes GIANT , MINER , RASCAL BOY ..

@@enderspider5001well it’s 1/5 for rare, then 1/4 for epic, and 1/3 for legendary, you gotta account for the fact that all of that multiplies. In other words, it’s a 1/60 (~1.667% chance) of getting a legendary, considering you can do this daily for 2 months straight, the OP is theoretically correct at getting one guaranteed in 2 months. (Reason: ~1.667 x 60 = ~100.02 THEORETICALLY, you could get much earlier or much later if lucky/unlucky)

@@Cyberman4583 sorry, didnt make it clear i was talking about average chance, the average chance of repeating 1/10 is not 100%. whe u flip a coin two times the chance getting ONE heads is only 75%, not 100%. This is because dont add them up, u would find the percentage chance of the first operation 50%, and then repeat that in the remaining chance(50%(remaining) * 50%(flip #2) before u add them(50% + 25% = 75%).

I think the lightning mode is just a global lightning, it targets the highest hp troop on the field
The thing I hate about this update is you can no longer view masteries from the character card. You can only view them by clicking the masteries button in deck builder or in the character badges, neither of which is sortable.
I'll trust that % upgrade as far as I can throw my phone. I'm currently sitting at 2-3% chance of getting Cannoneer instead of Princess, and I had maxed Princess tower since that update dropped.

I've done some quick math's to check the estimated probability of getting a legendary if I fully understood all the information given. The rarities must go in chronological order (common, rare, epic and legendary), therefore you cannot skip a rarity (such as common to epic cannot happen). Correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't revised probability in some time, but the chances seem to be a 1.5% of getting a legendary.

For those wondering, here are the stats for lucky boxes
Common: 51.2% chance
Rare: 36.05% chance
Epic: 11.25% chance
Legendary: 1.5% chance

This is definitely a good step in the right direction to combat the bad updates the game has received lately.

For the clash royal surge challenge every 30 seconds the arena lights up and then strikes the 3 highest health targets like a normal lightning spell. This means that if your opponent has 3 high health units on the board your lower health units are safe.

this may add a huge push toward positive progress for f2p player but it won't be like you will get legendary everytime it will be very rare especially elite wild cards
Each time you tap it has chance of upgrading btw so a common could become a legendary even if its rare.
I am sure players won't hate it like they hate starrdrops because of the simple fact that mystery boxes are pure progression and won't drop some random emote or a banner that nobody wants.
I respect the CR team for not plaguing it with cosmetics. A simple fact that they realized but brawl team couldn't.

Doing math you will get 15 legendary boxes after opening 1000boxes so 1 legendary box in ≈67days/boxes.seems kinda underwhelming but for the reward it gives ,ig it's fine.

I got an epic first drawn and 50 000 wild cards, which made me King Lvl 15. The King chest gave me 50 000 tower princess cards so another 50 000 wild cards.

@@Chuckles-9838 no it isn't, after all these years they made a feature that utilizes key part of the game to change up game play, yes the cards get stronger but they are mostly OP only for the time they make offer in the shop to make some money and get nerfed after that, its definitly step in the right direction allowing older cards to get new usage without changing card itself, second best thing for meta after adding new cards

This new game mode summed up just punishes high elixir cards and favors building and cycle decks.
