You didnt overspend! I saw a vegan thanksgiving dinner haul from a couple here on youtube the other day and they spent $240!!! I was shocked! I think you did pretty good. :)
I’m not vegan, but these are one of my all time favorite videos you make! I love seeing what you choose to make because I hate thanksgiving food anyway 😂
I'm from Germany, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but the food always looks so incredible, so I'm making a vegan Thanksgiving dinner for my girlfriend and me for the second time now. I plan on mashed garlic and rosemary potatoes, corn bread, green beans, lentil roast in puff pastry, onion gravy and pecan rosemary stuffing. Maybe something pecan related for dessert and some Brussels sprouts with maple syrup, we'll see. I'm so excited, it's going to be so yummy! And it's also pretty cheap except for the pecans.
I hope it all came out delicious and that you and Jon enjoyed your meal together. The cats thru out this whole shooting were cracking me up, esp Olive in the paper bag! I cannot tell you how many times I've threatened my cats with the vacuum as well =) lovable trouble is what they are
spent around 50$ because I bought fresh produce and bulk items......making roasted veggies, cauliflower mash potatoes, wild rice stuffing, mushroom gravy, and then just the gardien turkey
I'm dying.............when Ethan made the rolls drop.........Omg :) I'm so sorry! I think it will be ok, just wrap them up very well and bake them tomorrow :) (except for that top one) Qcknd's Kitchen............yes!
Oh mannnnn I am so excited for Qcknd's Kitchen!!! I'm from Scotland so I've never celebrated Thanksgiving, but next year me and my best friends want to do a Friendsgiving (with that sweet sweet tofurkey) :)
This hair on you is MAGICAL! i love it! i am AMAZED that youve never bought mushrooms before! hahahaa. Funny story, Gardein is originally made up here on the west coast of canada! In order to expand their markets they pulled almost ALL of their products from canadian stores, except four items. It was a HARD year hahaha, but they've been trickling back to us now. ( longest comment ) but - I heard that you have to let the coconut style arsol whipped cream kinda chill out on the counter and warm up a bit before using, otherwise the coconut cream is too hardened and the container sprays too much arsol out and not enough cream. So you end up with a bunch left over cream and no steam to get it out.
I'm so pumped for Qcknd's kitchen, obviously we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the Uk but I love food and this just made me even more excited for Christmas dinner!
we call our stuffing “dressing” , and I made my dads (rip) famous recipe from my memory we add vegan cream of mushroom or broth , veggie stock , vegan ground sausage , celery and onion to the bag of herbed stuffing that you showed and DOUSE it in homemade mushroom gravy ! it was aaaammamzzzing !
You're so cute! I love that one of the things that you're excited about is wearing an apron ♥ ♥ this all sounds delicious! Hope you and yours all have the best day ♥ xxxxx
I'm making my first ever tofurkey this year and I'm excited! It was sold out almost everywhere near me, I'm glad I got my hands on one! I'm going to someone else's thanksgiving so I only spent $20 on my tofurkey and the vegan side I'm bringing.
wait can you share your recipes your using, specifically the green bean casserole. pleeease! love love seeing this last minute video cause I also was out today shopping
I don't know how much I spend on holidays like thanksgiving but I buy all real veggies! I know the price point for veggies is different in the us & that makes me sad :( fresh veggies are one of the most beautiful thing in the world. Anyway, liked the video as always, can't wait for more Qcknd's kitchen & I wish everyone a great thanksgiving!
Me and my sister split the price, together it was about 120$ for 10 people, the menu is based on the keto diet for my mum and lots of baked goods cause my sister's a baking beast
I think you did pretty good (especially considering it wasn't all spent on food), I'm sure a lot of vegans (and non-vegans) go all out for Thanksgiving !
I somehow spent $30 just on vegan mac and cheese ingredients, a couple of disposable pans, and crescent rolls for a friendsgiving. It definitely adds up quick (P.S. I 5-ever love your cats)
Looking forward to a followup on the turkey. I like a lot of gardein stuff as it is(also going to check out that turkey review, considering bringing a vegan main dish for my friendsgiving potluck next year, given how my diet is tracking I'll likely at least be vegetarian by then.
Amy Bee they’re actually not the same thing; yams are purple and have pale insides. They’re really common in Asian countries. I made the mistake of calling a sweet potato a yam in front of my Filipino boyf once - oh no 😂

My husband and I are just vegetarian and we’re trying the Quorn turkey roast this year and I hope it’s good. It was like the only option locally. I like their nugs tho.
ps I live in Canada and it’s so hard to find good vegan options like this in my city, howeverrrr I did find that tofurkey roast you refernced in an old video! It changed my life. I buy 5 and freeze them.
I don't think that 90 dollars is too much considering there's a lot of food. It always happens to me that when I prepare a festivity meal it seems that there isn't enough food and we always end up having too much, so you're going to have leftovers hahaha Love the video, I'm always curious about the food in thanksgiving bc I'm not from usa
I think they had problems with the non dairy whipped cream cuz I bought different cans and each one would clog up after a few uses with the coconut version. But it did taste good lol
It’s ok I just got my roast today. It was the last one at Trader Joe’s they had hidden in the back and graciously gave it to me 🤗 forgot to get a pie from Whole Foods though whatev

Did you go to the Wegmans in Cherry Hill? That's honestly the best one, they have the best vegan lemon cookies (also molasses cookies too), plus their hotbar is so mf good.
I was curious if the pumpkin spice one was good since ya...the ones other than the classic cheesecake taste so artificial and nasty. Also I'm a Canadian and I was so confused about the marshmallows on yams, quack 😂😂
You could make a miniature Catsgiving where you make them turkey and a seasonal drink 😅
I bought my cats a Turkey wet food so they could have Thanksgiving too 😂

I swear that gravy makes life worth living
The whipped creme isn’t working for me either I’ve bought 2 and they only work the first time! Not just Jon letting all the air out!
my mom always just throws pop rolls in a plastic zip bag and puts em in the fridge. ive stolen some from her and they seem ok ~
Have fun cooking and Happy Thanksgiving 🌻🍁🍃
"pumkin cheesesteak....cheese...cake. sorry, philly" lmao ily sis

More of qcknds kitchen. Yes!
The spring garden Whole Foods honestly gives me so much anxiety!! I bet it was crazy with holiday shoppers
That whip cream barely comes out and I’ve tried shaking it a ton. I have to bang it while I’m spraying to get anything to come out

The cats are problematic 🤭😻❤️
And why did Jon leave that one, little lonesome slice of pie in the box 😭🤣🤭?
I cooked a traditional thanksgiving dinner for about 20 people (22 including kids) and I spent about 230 dollars and had plenty of leftovers.
Praise be!
You look so pretty. Love your bangs this length and this hair cut on you. Lol, I spent $33 just for Mac and cheese ingredients.
I RELATE sooooo much to the cat situation, we have 3 cats, sometimes that’s a lot of cats . 😂😂😂

Congratulations 😘love your vids and evolution well done and happy turkey day!

I live in Northeast Philly, and I’m struggling finding the cranberry Sprite too 😩
And what’s worse is there’s an advertisement for it every time I cross the Whitman bridge, just mocking me.
The cats are cracking me up 🐱

Omg your cats 😂 the Reddi whip I have the almond milk one and mine did the same thing... it was like I was out but I wasn’t!
