Thanks, It was a good deal. I was driving by and was about to call it in. Large area of dark brown smoke in the forest, and we were in severe drought last summer. As I exited to call. The tones went out. So that was simple. The train being stopped in the middle of the fire was coincidence. They were waiting for a signal change and the fire broke out around their train with hazardous materials on board
Yep, ya just get lucky sometimes lol. Honestly, the train probably started the fire, unless it was an encampment or smth. Ive been to a couple fires stared by sparks from the train wheels.
I sure was in a great spot. I was driving by the area right before the call went out. Saw a large area of dark brown smoke billowing from the forest near the freeway. I made the very soonest exit and got everyone. Would've gone on seen but access was nearly impossible. I was even seeing that smoke from about 5 miles before I knew
Yeah it did, they fixed it sometime soon after this was taken. Because I got that booster again a few months later on another grass fire and it was working normal
So much airhorn. They need to ease it up and let the siren be heard from other drivers. Changing the tone would be better than just laying on the horn. Sweet catch regardless.
Nice to see the bell was in use on that one apparatus!
Ol guy in red car wins meatstick of the year award for sure
Wow, awesome video! So much variety lol, the paint schemes, the unit types, you literally got it all in this video, nice work haha

@@southplainsfireresponses4222 Always a good feeling to catch most (or all) of the units coming into a fire call!
Is it just me, or, was ther first ladder truck ringing the bell?? If so, tarts a amazing catch.
Truck 106, they did ring the bell. They’ll do that now and again. I’ve caught Rescue 101 recently using bell too
Very Nice Catches! It looks like the first brush had light issues.

what happen with the new hazmat 102?
This was filmed last summer, the new hazmat hadn't been delivered yet
@@southplainsfireresponses4222 oh sorry
If i may ask, why was a hazmat truck going to a brush call? I'm just very curious is all
@glen7988 makes sense
All the thing's, structures', business and industries that are brush fire adjacent need to be handled too.
think that first truck has an electrical issue
wow, jackpot!!
I like this video😊
