I've never heard of a macro keyboard and now I feel like I need to do a bunch of research on them because they look so cool 😯😯😯 Also, since you mentioned that you watch RUclips while you draw, I'd like to reccomend the channel "PricklyAlpaca", I think you'd really like the channel 💖
I bought a similar one, I was in doubt because I had seen a lot of videos of people using an 8Bit Do mini controller. But I noticed that there were few buttons and that I would have to map the buttons twice, once for a simple button click and another for a button click and hold, just to have more commands mapped. I found it not very useful, and started looking for alternatives. Mine has 12 buttons, 3 clickable knobs and 3 layers. I'm loving it.
I also have my keyboard half on the table half on the mouse pad wobbling around , i think this would help me even tho my tablet has side buttons . Recently found your chanell and love it ❤
I never use the side buttons on my tablet, there aren't enough buttons for shortcuts and I always end up having to use a keyboard. Now that I have been using the macro keyboard for a few weeks, I like having my normal keyboard on the right side for the shortcuts I don't use that often. I use my left hand on the macro to press shift and the right hand on the normal keyboard to press the other key for example. Thanks for the praise! I'm so glad you found me then :)

It is such an easy way to bypass the complicated hand movements of combination keys and have them simplified
I ORDERED THE SAME i hope you can shre your layout for video editing or other stuff, thanks 👍👍 i sill be using it with autodesk sketchbook
I still haven't finalized my layout for editing yet, but I can say that most keys are just for single key shortcuts
did it come with software to map the keys?
Yes it did. The software isn't the best but it's good enough to allow any basic key mapping, up to multiple key combinations in one press
@@D3troisVarietyChannel thanks for the reply, I worry about spyware so I will try to see if qmk works with something like this.
How would you compare it to something like touch portal?
I don't know what it is, so I can't compare
