As usual very informative. Thank you for sharing. You also managed to answer my question on how to use a negative ASIN in a productive way so it does not eat all my daily budget. Will try your suggestion.
Great video. I've burned so much money on "trial and error" with my PPC campaigns. My auto campaign was showing that, after about 35 clicks, I had a 25% conversion on 4 different ASINS. I was excited and moved those ASINS to an exact targeting campaign. As soon as I did that, 2 of the ASINS didn't convert at all, zero sales, after another 30 clicks and the last 2 ASINS dropped their conversion rate to about 5% after another 30 clicks. That's basically how all of my PPC campaign efforts have worked out.......a keyword or an ASIN will look like it's working, only to have it stop working. I've gone through this with hundreds of keywords and at the end of the day, I am only ranking on the first page for low traffic keywords that I have NEVER thought of and have NEVER spent a nickel on..........how is that possible? I don't rank on page 1 for any of the keywords that I have targeted and sold on over the last 3 months. I'm very confused and disappointed.
I replied to you on another comment you left on another video. I honestly can not help you without seeing the data and recommend you book a call cause you are obviously frustrated and I feel that on a call looking at the report I can give you clarity.
@@SharonEven Thank you. Sorry for the crazy rant, I was having a moment... I will watch the video you recommended and I think a call would be very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for great info. I watch a bunch videos today about product targeting this is by far the best one. Very useful. May I ask what’s the percentage of budget for product targeting campaigns & keywords target campaigns? I am super struggling about how much I should put it in product targeting.
TY - when do you kill a keyword, for example, after 20 clicks and no purchase? I recently had a hot keyword perform well for 3 days and then 50 clicks later no sales? How do you manage that?
Awesome video very helpful! So can I focus my budget mostly on targeting products because I’m getting so much more sales in this campaign than on auto and exact keywords during launch Much cheaper CPC too. Just want to make sure I rank for keywords
Hi Parmeet Singh, It depends on the asin and it’s relevancy + if you can actually compete against it. It’s trial and error. If I believe I can steal sales from an asin I am willing to bid higher at first to get that first placement so I can test the conversion out. As long as it is within my budget I may put in the suggested bid and add 100-200% in placement (product / purpose dependent). If you are not in my Facebook group I encourage you to join
Hi Sharon - do you use the search terms which you see in front of Keyword as a Keyword for the new campaign?? I heard this from some gurus?? Hope you understand what I asked
@@SharonEven Hello, Is it possible to run product targeting at the first day of launching? and do you think it is more expensive than keywords targeting?
Hi Tuan Nguyen, It is most definitely possible from day one - I speak about it in the video, I also chose the product as an example as they have 0 reviews and just launched. Asin targeting vs keyword targeting is niche a product dependent. In some niches asin targeting is very very cheap and in other like supplements for example it can cost $8-$12 per click for an Asin! Do not target amazon products in asin targeting. Each campaign has its purpose, keyword targeting and asin targeting each have a different purpose.
@@SharonEven Yes it is not wise to target the amazon asins. Crucial things when sb decides to asin targeting what advantages and differences their product have.

Zach Miller thank you! Happy you have found it valuable 😁
Can you make clothing ppc strategy
how much do you think we have to bid per asin that we are going to target?

Hmmm not 100% sure I get the question... You mean if it says " Red Bandana for women" then "Red Bandana" has its own campaign?
How many product asins per product targeting campaign?
I put in 10 per campaign, if you would like to have more than 10 then you need to have a larger daily budget.
It is great to be a 01 viewer on this video. let see it.
Thanks Tuan, Hope you find it valuable!! Let me know 😀
